The Magdalene Heart Inititiation in France 2018—Detailed Itinerary

Led by Mercedes Kirkel
July 17th – 28th, 2018
(Over Mary Magdalene’s Feast Day!)

Join us for a spiritual retreat and blessing pilgrimage. This transformational journey weaves together practicing and living The Magdalene Heart Path with exploring the sacred sites of Mary Magdalene in southern France.

Spend twelve amazing days immersed in the energy of Mary Magdalene and the Divine Feminine, being guided by multi-award-winning author and channel Mercedes Kirkel.

Our time together will include:

  • Focused retreat gatherings, led by Mercedes, to deepen your journeysan-salvayre-mm-statue-crop_1864 of living the MAGDALENE HEART PATH
  • Visiting the sacred sites of the area that are powerfully connected to Mary Magdalene
  • Engaging in ceremony together at Magdalene sites, magnifying the blessing and transmission available to us
  • Initiation into The Magdalene Heart Path
  • A special Mary Magdalene live channeling by Mercedes on Mary Magdalene’s Feast Day
  • Staying in the heart of the Magdalene energy field for 12 days!

Plus we’ll savor delicious food, have fun and celebration, and enjoy a community of like-minded people.

The retreat will be limited to 12 people, to keep it personal and create connection amongst everyone. We’ll be based at a lovely chambre d’hote (French style B&B) for ten nights, right in the center of the Magdalene area, with the hotel entirely reserved for our retreat. Each night, our hosts will prepare a wonderful, French country-style meal for our group. And in the morning you’ll be served a French-style breakfast.

The retreat begins before you arrive in France. All registrants will take THE MAGDALENE HEART PATH Online Course prior to the retreat (the cost of the course is included in the retreat price). This will allow everyone to deeply understand what THE MAGDALENE HEART PATH is and support all of us in having a life-changing experience of LIVING THE MAGDALENE HEART PATH together throughout the retreat.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Tuesday, July 17

Tina, our wonderful retreat manager, will meet you at the airport in Toulouse, France at 10:00 a.m. Please be prompt as we’ll be taking off for Limoux at 10:30 a.m. sharp.

[NOTE: We highly recommend arriving the previous day (Monday, July 16) or earlier, so you’ll be rested and prepared for our 10 a.m. meeting on July 17. We recommend staying at the Toulouse Airport Holiday Inn Express, which is 5 minutes from the airport and offers a free airport shuttle.]

notre-dame-de-marceille-black-madonna_1455-editWe bring you to Limoux for lunch on the traditional French square, where Mercedes will join the group. During lunch, Mercedes will talk about the Black Madonna and how it relates to Mary Magdalene, in preparation for the afternoon.

We then visit a famous Black Madonna at the Sanctuary of Notre Dame de Marceille. Local lore has it that a farmer found this statue in his field and took her home with him, but she mysteriously returned to the field during the night. This happened on three consecutive nights, so they built a church over the site where she was found to honor her.

Next we go to another special place for a ceremony of cleansing in preparation for our retreat.

Afterward we check in to our hotels in Rennes-les-Bains, where we’ll be staying for the next ten nights (included in retreat price). Rennes-les-Bains is a spa town, with baths going back to Roman times. It was also a Celtic settlement. Most important of all, this may well have been the place where Mary Magdalene and Yeshua lived upon arriving in France after the crucifixion.

We’ll have the first of many delicious dinners provided by our delightful hosts to our group. (All 10 dinners in Rennes-les-Bains are included in the retreat price).

Day 2: Wednesday, July 18

Today, is our first retreat day. We focus on what the MAGDALENE HEART PATH is and how we can engage Mary’s teaching for shifting from our head to our heart. Lunch will be at a favorite restaurant on the Place des Deux Rennes, (the square in the center of Rennes-les-Bains).

In the afternoon, we spend time soaking in the thermal springs of Rennes-les-Bains.

fountain-of-lovers_1994Day 3: Thursday, July 19

On this second retreat day we focus on group practice, guided by Mercedes, to go more deeply into our immersion in the MAGDALENE HEART PATH.

Lunch will be at another local Rennes-les-Bains restaurant.

In the afternoon we head to the Fountain of Lovers—a beautiful heart-shaped pool nestled within a forest. Legend  says it’s an empowered spot for one’s relationship with their lover. We’ll call upon Mary Magdalene and Yeshua to fill us with their blessing and love of God, as we empower our inner lover.

Dinner is provided by our hosts in Rennes-les-Bains.

Day 4: Friday, July 20

We begin with a visit to the Isis and Osiris Seats, two high-energy stone “chairs” dedicated to the ancient Egyptian goddess and god, Isis and Osiris. There we receive their blessings and messages.

This is followed by visiting another empowered site nearby.

Lunch is in Rennes-les-Bains.

Tour Magdala w:path_2372In the afternoon, we have a presentation from Mercedes on Rennes-le-Chateau and its connection to Mary Magdalene (in preparation for our trip there the following day).

Dinner is provided by our hosts in Rennes-les-Bains.

Day 5: Saturday, July 21

Now we journey to the famous town of Rennes-le-Chateau, thought by many to be the center of the link to Mary Magdalene in southern France. We’ll spend time in the church dedicated to Mary Magdalene, which is reported to be built on an ancient temple of Isis.

Mystery surrounds this church, which is filled withRLC Altar Stained Glass full color crop_2386fascinating figures and symbols. At the center of the mystery is Berenger Saunier, the 19th century village priest who may have discovered a treasure related to Mary Magdalene, perhaps even proving the existence of a bloodline descending from Yeshua and Mary.

We lunch together at a lovely cafe in the village, followed by personal time to take in the Villa Bethania Museum and the Tour Magdala, both built by Saunier.

Then we return to Rennes-les-Bains, where dinner is provided by our hosts.

Day 6: FEAST DAY OF MARY MAGDALENE—Sunday, July 22

Today we enjoy the lively and colorful outdoor market at Esperaza for experiencing the local culture, shopping, and fun, with lunch from your choice of local vendors.

In the afternoon Mercedes will offer a special channeling of Mary Magdalene, in honor of her feast day.

Dinner is provided by our hosts in Rennes-les-Bains.

Day 7: Monday, July 23

We begin with retreat time, followed by a “Loving Our Body” session led by Mercedes.

Lunch is on your own in Rennes-les-Bains. In the afternoon, you’ll have personal time to revisit a sacred site in Rennes-les-Bains, soak in the outdoor natural warm springs, or enjoy the thermal pool and jacuzzi at the local bathhouse.montsegur-memorial-marker_1649

Before dinner, Mercedes will give a presentation on the Cathars, in preparation for our journey the following day to the castle at Montsegur.

Dinner is provided by our hosts in Rennes-les-Bains.

Day 8: Tuesday, July 24

After breakfast, we travel to one of the last strongholds of the Cathars at Montsegur. Here, in 1244, over 200 Cathars peacefully walked into a fire and died montsegur_1631rather than renounce their faith. Legend claims that several Cathars escaped the night before with a secret treasure. Some say the treasure was the holy grail, or The Book of Love, or a descendant of Yeshua and Mary.

We climb the steep mountain to the castle at the peak, as we experience the power of a group of people whose faith was Montsegur archway_1621remarkable, and who many believe were deeply connected to both Mary and Yeshua.

After our time at the castle remains, we’ll co-create a ceremony in the field below for healing and blessing of all involved, calling forth a new age of safety and peace, where Mary and Yeshua’s teachings of love-consciousness are fully realized on Earth. We end with a group picnic lunch.

We return to Rennes-les-Bains for personal time and then dinner with our hosts.

Day 9: Wednesday, July 25

mm-initiation-suvani_1938The morning is spent in group retreat time, followed by personal time, in preparation for your initiation into the MAGDALENE HEART PATH. A silent picnic lunch at a spot of your own choosing continues the preparation.

From there, we go to the “baptismal font.” This is the alchemical meeting place of the Sals and Blanque rivers, where the salt and fresh waters come together. Many believe Mary Magdalene performed baptisms at this site and her energy is palpable. Here you receive your baptism and blessing into the MAGDALENE HEART PATH.

Dinner is provided by our hosts in Rennes-les-Bains.

Day 10: Thursday, July 26

Magdalene Cave_2253Today we travel to the very special Magdalene cave that’s across the valley from Rennes-le-Chateau. Within this sacred cave, Mercedes will guide the group in receiving their own messages from Mary.

We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch afterward at a beautiful lake beside Montsegur, known for it’s powerful energy of the Sacred Masculine and connection to Yeshua. If weather permits, we’ll swim in the lake. Then we return to Rennes-les-Bains for personal integration time.

At dinner we celebrate our final evening in Rennes-les-Bains with our lovely hosts, who have supported us throughout the retreat.

Day 11: Friday, July 27

In the morning we drive to Alet-les-Bains for a very special blessing at a local site, followed by a closing ceremony for our retreat. Afterward we’ll have lunch nearby.

We spend the afternoon at Carcassonne lores_2539Carcassonne, a striking medieval walled city, which is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

You’ll have time to visit the cathedral and explore this ancient fortress on your own—walking the cobblestone streets, visiting shops, getting gifts for yourself and loved ones, and maybe enjoying an ice cream on the square.

At the end of the afternoon we drive to Toulouse and drop you off at your airport hotel (included in the retreat costs). Dinner is on your own, with a number of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel for you to choose from.

Day 12: Saturday, July 28

Depart from Toulouse for home.

If you feel called to be part of this powerful journey, register soon! We believe space will fill up fast, as we already have many interested applicants.
