5 Ascension Insights Most People Aren’t Talking About: Insight #1

INSIGHT #1: NO ONE KNOWS WHAT’S HAPPENING
I certainly don’t “know” what’s happening. All I have are my experiences and beliefs.
What I trust are actual experiences—my own experiences and the experiences of others.
I hold beliefs much more lightly. I evaluate beliefs to see if they match my experiences and intuition. I see if the beliefs support me in being the kind of person I want to be. If they do, I make space for them as possibilities, perhaps even likely possibilities. If not, I let them go.
But even if I resonate with a belief and choose to keep it in my collection, that still doesn’t mean I “know” that thing to be true. It remains a belief until it’s my actual experience.
I haven’t met anyone in the third dimension who I believe “knows” what this ascension process is all about or where it’s leading. Many of us have ideas, including things we’ve heard from others. But that hasn’t convinced me that those things are facts. They might be possible. They also may not be what is happening or is going to happen.
I think it’s critical to differentiate beliefs from experience. If we’re aware that what we’re thinking is a belief, rather than something that’s been experienced, we tend to be much more balanced in how we hold that idea.
Having that kind of relationship to our own beliefs leads to being aware when others are expressing beliefs—even if those others think the things they’re expressing are “THE truth.” We can see those others as equals with their own beliefs, just like us. Doing so, we can stay in our own power, rather than giving our power away to them (through submission or rebellion).
We can also be respectful of others’ beliefs, even if they don’t match ours. Respect and agreement are two different things.
I believe that kind of balance, awareness, equality, empowerment, and respect are all signs of the ascension process being underway. They’re also some of the inner divine qualities that Mary Magdalene talks about as being bridges to our own divinity.
One way of seeing the ascension process is that we’re shifting from being mind-and knowledge-based to being based in our own divinity, which we connect to through our heart. That inner divinity is something we can experience.
That deeply resonates with me and calls to my soul.

MARY MAGDALENE: Feminine Energy of Fullness

Question: Can you talk about the Feminine energy of fullness? Like being full?
Mary Magdalene: Most definitely, this is one of the essential forms of the Feminine. The Masculine is emptiness; the Feminine is fullness.
You have spiritual traditions in your world where emptiness is espoused as the path. An example of this is Zen Buddhism. Even in the forms of meditation practice that most people have learned, the practice is to empty oneself, to clear oneself, to clear the mind, to clear your thoughts, to clear whatever’s arising, and to find God through that. So meditation is viewed as a process of emptying. This is a Masculine orientation.
The Masculine orientation is an effective process for reaching the Masculine aspect of God. This is the aspect of God that most spiritual teachers have told you is “the way.” It is one approach.
The Feminine is most definitely about fullness. In some of your older cultures that were very Feminine-based, you would see images of the Feminine with huge bellies, very round and full, because that was the force of life and birth. A woman who is pregnant and about to give birth is the icon of the Feminine in fullness. You have images of the Feminine as your Earth in its fullness. Truly, all of manifestation is the Feminine.
The Feminine and the Masculine are two faces of God. The Masculine is what is beyond manifestation, beyond form and incarnation. It is what transcends, what goes beyond. You have the Buddhist teaching of “gate, gate, para gate, parasam gate, bodhi svaha,” which translates as “Beyond, beyond. Beyond the beyond. Hail the goer.” This is a reference to going beyond form to the transcendent, which is without form. This can be seen as emptiness.
What is form? Form is the Feminine. All of manifestation and physicality is one way that manifestation occurs. But there are many other ways. Your thoughts, your feelings, your energy—you experience lots of different kinds of manifestation.
Each being is a universe of fullness unto themself. Then you have all your beings, just in this world. Then there are worlds upon worlds upon worlds, just in the physical. Then there are dimensions upon dimensions upon dimensions. This is the great arena of the Feminine of all form, all arising—from the most dense form (some say denser than physicality) to the most light-based forms of light beings, angels, subtle sounds, lights. All of that is the Feminine. It is the tremendous fullness.
And the Feminine is in union with the Masculine.
These are the two paths that most beings in your world have known. The path of the Masculine is the path of transcendence—going beyond form, going beyond the Feminine—to know God. The path of the Feminine is the path of knowing God as all forms—every aspect of manifestation, all of it is God. Both paths lead to God.
The most direct path, for most people, is the path of union. It is the path of embracing all form, manifestation, and arising as God, and simultaneously knowing that God is beyond all of it. You can say it is a dream or an illusion, and it is also God. It is both.
This knowingness of the union of these two seeming opposites is a path of realization. It is not something to be believed or thought into reality. It is to be known and realized.
For most beings, there are stages of embracing the Masculine. This is why people do practices such as meditation, because it is valuable to develop one’s Masculine and to more and more connect with the transcendental aspect of God, which goes beyond all form.
It is also valuable to know the Feminine as God. That begins with knowing yourself as God—knowing your body, your energy, your sexuality, your emotions, as God.
This ultimately leads to the essence of the union of the Masculine and Feminine, which is the union of Divine Masculine as consciousness, which has no form, and Divine Feminine as love, which is embracing EVERYTHING that is. This union of love and consciousness is the highest form of knowingness of God.

My Ascension Breakthrough

Thank you to everyone who responded to my last blog post (MY ASCENSION REPORT—PART 2). I felt hugely supported, just by hearing from so many of you who are involved in the ascension process and learning about your experiences. (To see some of the responses, scroll down to the RESPONSES section at the bottom of that post.)
I want to share what’s happened for me since I wrote that post, because the process has continued and I’ve had a big breakthrough—YAY!!!!!
I also want to share what I learned from hearing so many people’s responses and seeing how it did or didn’t match my experience. I’ve actually distilled what I’ve learned into FIVE KEY INSIGHTS INTO THE ASCENSION PROCESS THAT MOST PEOPLE AREN’T TALKING ABOUT. These are:
- No one knows what’s happening.
- Our experiences are real.
- Don’t assume your process will look like anyone else’s.
- This is a death process.
- We’re becoming our own guides.
I have A LOT to say about each one of these insights and will be sharing more over the next few weeks in this blog.
But for now I want to share my breakthrough with you. Earlier this week, in the midst of reading the responses from so many of you (thank you all, again!) and feeling into what it all means, I went through a shift. It happened within about an hour-long period and had certain steps and connections that I went through.
While I can’t recall the details of the process any longer, the essence of what happened is that I went from confusion, doubt, and concern into trust.
I wasn’t trying to get to trust. That never works for me. My process is the very Feminine process Mary Magdalene describes of surrendering to painful feelings and allowing God to direct me from that place. But seemingly in an instant, I went from confusion, doubt, and concern into trust.
It was as though I’d crossed a fundamental divide and suddenly I was experiencing everything from a whole new perspective. I would describe that new “place” as being united with God.
From this place, I knew that whatever I experienced was fine—including confusion, doubt, concern, or anything else. It wasn’t my preference to experience those things, but it wasn’t going to shake my trust. That trust was coming from being unwaveringly connected to God.
From this place, I realized that I could bring discipline to my experience—not as a means to get to God, because I was already there. But discipline could make the process a whole lot easier. Suddenly, it just made sense to do it. I realized that I had lots of spiritual practices in my “bag of tricks” that I hadn’t been making use of.
A few hours later, one of my friends sent me a link to a video of Victor Oddo talking about what’s happening this month in the ascension process. I don’t know who Victor Oddo is or where he’s sourcing his information from, but he was exactly describing what I had just gone through. And I really enjoyed his “non-typical” spiritual presence—that he’s young, high-energy, no-nonsense, and not assuming any kind of spiritual “posturing.”
Anyway, I felt delighted. I took it as the universe (read: my personal guidance) affirming that I was completely on track.
That night, I started applying my spiritual disciplines. Before I went to bed, I engaged some of the practices from SUBLIME UNION for circulating energy through the chakras. In the morning, I meditated longer than usual, spending extra time resting in my heart and using my 4D manifestation process for strengthening myself.
Lo and behold, I felt a lot better the rest of the day. My energy was strong and I was able to get a lot done, which was reassuring since I feel like I’ve fallen behind and have been barely covering the essentials during the last few ascension waves.
Since then I’ve continued doing the practices and my energy has continued to be strong. I’m being productive and enjoying my life again. That feels great!
Will this last? I certainly hope so, and only time will tell. But even if my energy takes a dip, or even a dive, I don’t think I’ll lose my new center of experiencing whatever happens from the place of being united with God. I don’t think I’m going to lose that, any more than I’m going to forget how to walk or ride a bicycle. It’s there. And I sense that will make all the difference.
I have one last thought. I don’t think it’s any accident that all this is coming up for me right now. My Ascension Report—Part 2

In early May, I wrote a blog post titled AM I ASCENDING OR AM I DYING? In it I described some very dramatic experiences I was having. At the time, I wasn’t sure what had caused them, but my guess was that it was part of the ascension process.
It’s now about a month later and I’m a month further into the continuation of those experiences. I had no idea this would last so long, but it has. I’m now realizing this may not be a temporary state.
For those of you who aren’t sure what I’m referring to as “the ascension process,” it’s the process I believe is underway for all of us of transitioning from the third dimension into higher dimensions of reality. It’s what Mary Magdalene and Yeshua are most focused on in their communications to me and what they want to help all of us with. And it’s the focus of the new spirituality of COMMUNION™ and the channeling series I’m currently receiving from Yeshua and Mary Magdalene.
My symptoms over the past month have seemed to come in waves, lasting from a few days to over a week, and then receding until the next wave. During the wave, my energy body feels like it’s vibrating at a very high frequency and I have the sense that a very big energy is moving through me and altering me. I’ve likened it to high voltage surging through a wire. During those times, I feel confused and fuzzy mentally, and have a hard time focusing. My connection to my physical body feels rather distant. My coordination is off, food doesn’t agree with me, and I feel lightly nauseous much of the time. I feel weak but not sleepy.
On top of all that, during these waves I feel extremely sensitive. I’m feeling things much more deeply and they’re affecting me much more than usual—especially emotionally and energetically. Now I’ve always been a very sensitive person. Ask anyone who knows me and I think they’ll agree. But this is taking it to a whole new level, and it’s been quite challenging to integrate.
In fact, all of these symptoms have been super challenging. Over the last month, I feel like I’ve been “riding the waves,” doing my best to stay functional in the midst of it, and basically just get through. It hasn’t been easy. Many times I’ve had to let go of functioning in the way I was planning or thought I needed to be doing. It’s requiring a whole new level of surrender and trust—trust that every thing necessary will get handled, even if I can’t do it in the ways I’m used to or thought it was going to happen.
For a very functional person (me), that’s hard!
Part of what motivated me to write this post is to let everyone know that I’m not fully functioning in the third dimension anymore. I’m giving my official notice. I’m doing my best to honor agreements—especially my soul agreements to bring this work through from Mary Magdalene and now Yeshua. But I’m not “all here” anymore.
For example, I’ve noticed that I’m not keeping up with email correspondence the way I have in the past. I’m doing my best, but I’m noticing gaps where I’ve missed something or failed to respond to something. I hugely apologize if you’re one of the people who haven’t heard back from me. If that’s the case, please write again and let me know that I didn’t respond.
This is just one example, but it’s part of a bigger pattern. It’s part of why I’ve been asking for help recently. I just can’t do things like I have in the past. I hugely appreciate all the people who’ve responded to my requests for help. It’s part of what I see as Spirit showing me it’s OK to let go and that things that need to happen will get taken care of in different ways. Fortunately, it seems to be happening.
This reminds me of what I hear people tell those who are dying. They help them to let go and trust that everything will be handled after they leave. I think a part of me is dying. My 3D-self is dying, or perhaps more accurately metamorphosing into something else. Is this what the caterpillar feels like when it’s inside the cocoon?
The other reason that motivated me to write this post is because I don’t actually know “for sure” why this is happening. I don’t personally know anyone else who has gone through this and heard the results. I’m not in contact with others who are experiencing it right now. So I feel doubt about my own conclusion that this must be part of the ascension process.
I’m fundamentally a skeptic. I don’t generally believe things until I experience them, or at least know others—who I trust—who’ve experienced them. While there’s a lot of general talk about ascension symptoms among certain groups of spiritually oriented people, I often wonder if if what they’re attributing to ascension or calling ascension symptoms is really what’s happening, or if it’s something else.
However, my current experiences are reminding me of something else that I do trust. They’re reminding me of what’s called “kundalini awakening” in the Indian tradition. I trust that kundalini energy is real and that people can have very powerful experiences when it’s stimulated or “awakened.” This is because of my own kundalini experiences in the past, as well as reports of others.
If I relate to my present experiences as a kundalini process, then I feel more trusting of what I’m experiencing. While this may seem like mere semantics to some, to me it offers reassurance from a long-standing tradition based on many people’s experience.
It also makes sense to me that “kundalini rising” may be another way of describing or explaining the ascension process. My understanding is that the ascension process is shifting us from being primarily physically-based to primarily energy-based. I see kundalini as a highly potentized form of life-force energy that moves in a specific current or channel in our nervous system. When that happens, people experience profound transformations in their physical, energetic, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies.
That sure sounds like ascension to me.
So perhaps ascension and kundalini awakening are very related. Perhaps the kundalini awakening is the process and ascension is the outcome.
Somehow I feel relieved and reassured holding it in that context. I think it’s because there is a precedent for what I’m experiencing that’s associated with spiritual development and evolution.
I would love to hear from others who are having similar experiences to mine. I have hope that hearing others’ experiences would give me more information about what’s really going on, and offer support and companionship in the process.

MARY MAGDALENE: Going To The Root Of Forgiveness

Question: I’ve spent a couple of years not being able to forgive the separation that’s happened with my son. I keep wanting to talk things over in order to heal them and it doesn’t work. Then I find myself with a grudge that I have to suck it up and go on, and I haven’t released it.
In the larger sphere, I want to take steps to make a difference in the world, yet let go and let myself be used for whatever purpose it is that I’m being used for. I want hope of making a difference, healing, or forgiveness, while not being trapped by reactivity to what I see in the world that is really out of balance.
Mary Magdalene: Most of what people think of as forgiveness is not an effective process. It is, again, the Masculine separated from the Feminine.
You have been given teachings of forgiveness that are not whole. They are partial. Many people have the idea that forgiveness is to love the other being. There is truth in that, but it is not the whole truth.
The outcome of forgiveness is to love the other being. But this is not the process of forgiveness. Love is what you get to through forgiveness.
You must begin with the Feminine. This is what most people don’t understand.
Most people who are contemplating forgiveness are aware that they are in pain. They are using forgiveness as both a way to alleviate their own pain and also to move into what they hope is a spiritual process with the other parties are involved.
You must begin with the Feminine. You must always begin with the Feminine. This is one of the great truths that most people do not understand. The Feminine leads to the Masculine. The Feminine loves the Masculine. And the Feminine always leads to the Masculine.
If you start with the Masculine, you are starting with the ending. This does not tend to get you to the Feminine. The Masculine has a different purpose. The Masculine guides the Feminine.
It does not work to begin with the Masculine. It works to begin with the Feminine. Of course, I am speaking to the archetypal Masculine and Feminine that lives within all beings. I am not talking about men and women. I am talking about Masculine-Feminine.
Relative to forgiveness, you begin with the Feminine. You begin with your pain. The grieving process is to feel your pain. But do not stop there. If all you do is feel your pain, it will likely be a very long process of being immersed in pain. If you are willing to go all the way through the feeling of the pain—which for many people is very hard—this will eventually lead you through. But there are much easier processes for doing this work through the Feminine.
You are in pain because something in you has gotten disconnected from your inner divinity. It is not because of what the other person has done. Your pain is not because anyone else did something to you. You were affected by what someone else did and that effect caused you to disconnect from your own divinity.
The feelings you have are telling you that you have become disconnected from your inner divinity. You must use those feelings to find out what part of your inner divine nature you have lost touch with and then reconnect with that part. When you do that, you will heal yourself.
The healing does not come from others. The healing comes from you reconnecting with God. Anytime you are lost in wounding of some sort or other—whether it is grief, anger, resentment, blame—you are fundamentally at war with yourself. That is where the healing must occur.
For example, if you have been in a love relationship that has ended and you are still suffering from that relationship ending, if you still feel grief or blame or whatever about it, those feelings are your help. They are guiding you to the place within yourself where you have lost your connection to God.
If it’s a love relationship, then it’s often in the domain of love where you have lost your connection to God. Love is one of the God-qualities that lives within you. Whatever the outer events were that occurred, you got disconnected from your own connection to love. You got disconnected from the God-quality of love that lives within you, your well of love, your own access to love, the bridge that unites you with God through this particular aspect of yourself—love.
I’m just giving this as an example, but an example that is real for many people in their lives.
Your work is to find the place where you have gotten cut off from love and reconnect. Reconnect with your own knowingness of love. You cannot mourn something that you do not know within yourself. If you are mourning or grieving or in anger, it is a sign that you know this place within yourself and you are missing it. You know what it’s like to have that particular God-quality fulfilled. Go to that place where you know what it is to have that God-quality. Reconnect there and then the healing will begin.
If it is a very deep wound with someone you are very close to—a son, or someone else in your life that you are very close to—this will not happen instantly. It will take time. You will need to come back to this and reconnect over time. You will need to find your God-source within, in the particular form that you disconnected from. Eventually you will be fed again through that particular source or stream. Then love will come alive again within you.
It is at that point where you can turn to the other, not before. When love comes alive in you, then you can turn to the other. When you turn to the other, it is to ask the same question for them. What was motivating them? What part of their inner divinity were they trying to support through the actions that they took? What beautiful God-part of themselves were they doing their best to fulfill, even if it was not in the way you would have liked or you would have chosen. But in their divinity they were doing their best, even perhaps desperately, to stay connected to some part of them that they so needed.
When you find that in the other, on the basis of your own reconnection and strength, then the forgiveness will happen. That is the process.
Questioner: I hear you.
In terms of the world and what appears to be a lack of sanity in our political behavior with each other, are we to just remember that everybody is just trying to fulfill that?
Mary Magdalene: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no! The pain is in you. Go to your pain. Go to your source. When you call the world insane, you are saying that it is wrong. You are locked into the third-dimensional model of right and wrong. Go beyond that into your pain. Then you have reentered the domain of the Feminine.
What you’re really saying is, “Ouch, I hurt! I want compassion. I want love. I want spiritual communion carried out in everyday actions.” Yes?
Questioner: Yes!
Mary Magdalene: Your pain is that you have gotten disconnected within yourself to those wells of God-ness within yourself.
You must begin by getting out of your right-and-wrong thinking of who’s insane and who’s sane. Bring it back to you and your connection to God. “Oh yes, I want compassion. I want love. I want spirituality lived in practical life, moment-to-moment guiding our decisions as individuals and a culture.” That’s it. At that point your light of consciousness has found the disconnection in you, and your consciousness is already repairing it.
Then if you want to take it into forgiveness, do so on the basis of asking “What is the beautiful God-part that these people are trying to support in themselves?” These beings that you’re calling insane, there is some great beauty that they are trying to support. Find out what that is. Then your God-self and their God-self can meet. Then you can transform anything.
Questioner: So it’s the remembering of the root.

MARY MAGDALENE: The Truth Encoded in Adam and Eve

Question: I’ve been thinking of the story of Adam and Eve and I wanted to hear your version.
Mary Magdalene: There is a very great deal behind this story [laughter]. It is one of the messages I have given for the next book. Can you be more specific as to what are your questions?
Questioner: The story that I learned as a child doesn’t appeal to me and doesn’t seem correct. I don’t think there is anything wrong with taking the fruit of our beautiful world, enjoying that, and finding pleasure. So I was wondering what that mythology really means. How does it speak to us about the truth of who we are?
Mary Magdalene: There are so many levels to this.
It is indeed a mythology that was put forth. Yet there were also pearls. There were secrets encoded in it as well.
It seems you want reassurance that your understanding you have come to relative to this is accurate, on the path, and supporting you. Is this your question?
Questioner: My question really was to hear the truth of what the story means, because when I hear it in this one-dimensional way it doesn’t seem like it makes any sense.
Mary Magdalene: It makes a great deal of sense if you want to suppress people, control them, and convince them that they are bad.
Questioner: But what are the pearls from that story?
Mary Magdalene: The first pearl was about the serpent, which was the serpent power of kundalini. And the tree of life was the spine. It was about the process of ascending and moving into the higher dimensions. It was talking about the essentialness of the Masculine and Feminine being in union. The apple represents the Feminine. The apple is a symbol of the Feminine in many traditions. So it was the knowing, the embodying, the taking in of the Feminine.
Just as Eve was said to have been created to partner with Adam—that it was not enough to only have a man, it also required a woman—as well, it required the union of the Masculine and Feminine. This was the next instruction as to what to do with this.
It was all about awakening what is called kundalini in the Indian tradition. In the Egyptian lineage, we called it sekhem. This awakening was known in many ancient traditions. It was known in the temples. It was part of the mystery schools, which came out of what had developed in the temples.
All this was twisted and turned, as a means of suppression and control. You had the knowingness within yourself to say “No, this is not accurate.” But there was instruction being given, ultimately about moving into the higher dimensions, with the fourth dimension being the next dimension. This is what was practiced in the mystery schools.
For those who are ready and available for it, this is what is awakening at this time. Many who are incarnated at this time have this remembrance. Many have come back to be here at this time who were part of the mystery schools, who received this training, this consciousness, this awareness, this understanding. So many, and very likely yourself, are remembering.
But when you incarnate in this world, the veils close and the memory largely goes away, until you are spiritually developed. Or perhaps you have gifts that remained with you of being able to open the veils and remember, to understand the help that is being given.
So yes, there were most definitely great gifts in that story.
It is similar with your Bible. Much of it has been changed to a different interpretation, yet there are still gifts within it.

MARY MAGDALENE: Serve Out of Your Fullness of Self-Love

Question: What is the meaning of service? I’ve had a consciousness of service my whole life, but I end up hurting myself by not taking care of myself, putting myself last.
Mary Magdalene: It is very simple but it’s not easy. You must put yourself first. You must love yourself. Through loving yourself, you become the vehicle that all love flows through.
This is very different from what has been taught in many of your teachings, where it was bad to love yourself. It was selfish. It was self-centered. So you emptied yourself to be good. But this was an unfortunate teaching.
In truth, service comes out of the fullness of your self-love, the excess, the abundance. You are so filled with love that you can’t help but give to others. It’s streaming out of you. That is true service.
Think of a time when you were so in love, when you fell in love with another being and your heart was so full that it was a joy to serve. That service did not empty you because you were already full, already overflowing. It was simply a natural process.
When your service is not coming out of your overflowing fullness, it is a sign that you are needing to fill yourself with love, until you have excess to give others.

MARY MAGDALENE: Healing Shame
Received by Mercedes Kirkel
Question: I would like to hear you share about the energy of shame, how to open ourselves to looking at shame, without punishing ourselves for it or the things we want in life.
Mary Magdalene: Can you share more specifically what the source of the shame is that you’re asking about?
Questioner: I’ve had a long journey to explore shame in myself, especially as a woman, because women have been so held back from saying what we see, hear, or feel. It keeps us from living our lives fully and feeling what we have to birth in our hearts.
Mary Magdalene: That is the purpose of shame. Shame was cultivated to remove people from their power. It’s a technique of control, through convincing people they are bad, wrong, sinful, evil, or whatever the variation is. A hallmark of the third dimension is thinking that there is such a thing as right or wrong, good or bad.
Power and control is also a hallmark of the third dimension. It is what most souls have come here to explore. Power and control are the arena of this exploration. Good and bad are the methods of playing in that arena, by attempting to create power for some and take power away from others. This is one of the power games your world tends to be consumed with.
Shame is a part of that. Shame is a particular segment of the much-larger thinking and programming that says that there is such a thing as right or wrong. If there were no such thing as right or wrong, you wouldn’t feel shame.
Questioner: It feels like it goes into a place of polarization, taking us out of feeling our heart and having compassion and acceptance for our situation and our challenges. I want the clarity to not get into “I’m right and they’re wrong,” in moving out of shame.
Mary Magdalene: The greater practice is to go beyond right and wrong all together. In that process, healing shame is so important.
There are different arenas that most people tend to have shame. The first one is body shame. Most people in your world, especially in the United States, have great shame around their body. They don’t like their body, it’s not acceptable, and especially it’s not lovable. Most people have very specific ideas of what they would have to have to be lovable in their body—and they don’t qualify. Their body doesn’t match whatever that criteria is. This is a huge arena that needs healing for people and it is spiritual. It is a spiritual imperative that this healing be done relative to body shame.
Most people have shame relative to their sexuality. They feel it’s evil, sinful. They feel that they shouldn’t be involved with it, especially if they want to be spiritual or somehow more evolved or elevated. But even people who aren’t specifically interested in spirituality or religion tend to carry the general cultural message that sex is bad. On the other hand, sex is attractive. Sex is something people want and that they have a lot of attention and energy for. But there’s a secret quality to it, because they believe it is really bad.
People have shame relative to their emotions. Men have shame if they feel fear or sadness. Many men receive the message that they’re not a real man, or a real boy if they’re still young, if they show fear or sadness. Women often have shame about anger. There’s great healing to be done in these areas.
These are the Feminine arenas that have been identified as wrong, bad, unacceptable—your body, sexuality, and emotions. The Feminine arena is also where your power comes from. The mind does not have power. Your power comes from your Feminine.
There are other kinds of shame, where people have a sense at their core that there’s something the matter with them: “I’m just not OK. Everyone else is OK, but I’m different. I’m defective. I’m deficient.” Then they have ideas and beliefs that seem to back that up. This is extremely debilitating.
The healing work of all of shame is essential and most important. But as I said earlier, the real healing is the healing of the very idea that it is possible to be wrong; that it’s possible to be bad. That is the greatest healing you can bring, because this is what really binds and enslaves people. It is the very idea that “badness” or “wrongness” exist. This is what people’s true liberation will be.
I am not suggesting that people therefore take any action within the realm of possibilities. All actions have consequences. Some actions support love and light and some actions do not. The discernment is: Does this action support love and light or does it interfere with love and light? Not because the being or the action is inherently bad. All beings are on the path of incarnating love and light. The discernment is simply whether a particular action is moving you forward on your path of light and love or holding you back. That is all.
So that is the healing that is called for.

Am I Ascending or Dying?

During last Sunday’s channeling of Yeshua and Mary Magdalene, a woman asked a question about healing from sexual abuse. What happened next amazed me. Rather than immediately responding to the content of the question, Mary Magdalene responded with a flood of feeling. She went into a depth of grief I have never experienced before. She began to cry through me, weeping for the pain that this person, and so many others with similar experiences, have gone through. And she expressed her great sadness to the woman, several times.
I know it was Mary weeping and not me because I have always been extremely blocked and unable to cry, except on rare occasions. I know it was her grief, because I was aware of my own response to the question, and I would not have gone into grief. I would have responded on a more mental level, answering with ideas, not feelings.
It’s not that I would have been cold or uncompassionate. I was aware, at least to a certain extent, of the trauma this person had likely been through. I would have responded with sensitivity.
But I wouldn’t have let myself feel their grief, not to my depths. I wouldn’t have opened myself to the full extent of what this person had probably experienced. I don’t live like that. I have guarding to protect myself from feeling pain, especially when it doesn’t seem to involve me.
But I experienced Mary as having a very different response. What I experienced is that Mary doesn’t separate herself like I do. She didn’t separate herself from the person who asked the question. And she didn’t separate herself from the pain.
As I write that, I imagine you asking: “Is that wise? Is that safe? Is that what I’m supposed to be doing?”
I asked myself the same questions.
Is it safe to trust this world enough to open to it fully in feeling? Ultimately, I think that’s deciding whether to trust God. Or as they say in 12-step groups, coming to believe that a power greater than ourselves can restore us to sanity.
We’ve been living in an “insane” world that has taught us that we can’t allow ourselves to feel everything. It’s not safe. We won’t survive.
Yet I believe Mary is calling us to the exact opposite—she’s inviting us to feel everything. I think she would say that’s the direct path to our sanity, if by sanity we mean well-being in God. And it’s also (not coincidentally) the path to the Feminine.
Every time we hold back from feeling to any extent, we’re holding back from the Feminine. We’re denying the Feminine. We’re saying we don’t want the Feminine, don’t need it, and would be better off without it—thank you very much!
But Mary says differently. And I saw on Sunday that Mary lives what she teaches. She feels completely. 100%. No holding back. Nada.
So those of us who love the Feminine, who long for the Feminine, who are calling for the Feminine… Are we really ready to do this? Because it has to start with us. Otherwise we’ll just be being a wolf in sheep’s clothing—pretending to be the Feminine but still acting out the Masculine-denying-the-Feminine.
And that’s what I saw about myself. I still have a ways to go to stop denying the Feminine, first and foremost in myself. That brings me grief.
Thankfully, there’s more to this story. I got more than just a reflection from Mary of how I’m still shutting down to feeling. I also received an enormous blessing. It’s taken me nearly a week to understand that part. But now the pieces of the puzzle are coming together and I’m starting to see the whole.
After the channeling, I was exceedingly exhausted. I felt perplexed by that because I’m usually enlivened from channeling higher beings. Experiencing their state so directly has the effect of lifting me up into their energy and consciousness.
So I wasn’t expecting to be so exhausted after the webinar. I attributed it to all the work I’d done to create and manifest that event, which had been considerable. I took the rest of the day off, relaxing with friends and going to the ocean. Yet the exhaustion continued throughout the following days, to the point that I started to wonder what was going on. Had I really burned myself out?
I woke up on Thursday in a dramatically different state. I felt like I was halfway out of my body. My physical state seemed strange and unfamiliar, and I found myself struggling to perform ordinary activities. I had the thought that maybe I was dying, even though I didn’t really believe I was physically dying. But that was the closest thing I could relate what I was going through to.
I also had the thought that maybe I was ascending, going into the fourth dimension. That felt very taboo to even consider that, let alone hold it as being what was happening. “Who do I think I am? Jesus?” Yet even Jesus said “All this and more shall you do.” And isn’t ascending what I’m helping people to prepare for through all the work I’m doing? So maybe it was possible that it was actually happening, though I fundamentally doubted that, too.
A few hours passed and I asked a friend to be with me. With her holding me, I was able to let go further into the process. I began sobbing deeply, feeling the pain of the third dimension. At the same time, I was feeling volts of electricity (which I guessed was kundalini) blasting away at my second chakra, the center of my emotions. I felt like Spirit was trying to break through my blocks to feeling that I hold in my energy-body.
At some point the pain of this realm that I was experiencing became personal to me. I felt my own pain of never being able to do enough to relieve the suffering of this realm. And then the storm subsided. I became calm and felt myself surrounded by angels. I felt their peace and joy as my own. And I received the understanding that this is always my state. Peace and joy are continuous, even in the midst of pain arising. It’s like the sun, which is always shining, even when clouds occlude it.
The only thing that cuts me off from peace and joy is if I choose to stop feeling. If I shut down in order to not feel pain, I also stop feeling joy and peace. On the other hand, if I feel the pain, it resolves itself and returns me to what’s prior. Ultimately, that’s God.
Of course, this is exactly what Mary teaches in Mary Magdalene Beckons. And opening to my second chakra was the first practice I was given by Mary in Sublime Union. I was just experiencing myself at a whole new depth—a depth I don’t tend to be aware of. I was being shown my refusal to feel at this depth, and being asked to let go of that refusal.
It really was a death. A part of me has learned to survive by cutting off from feeling at this depth. That part was dying.
Now I feel more sober about the ascension process. I understand that we’re going to have to allow our old ways to die for new ones to come in. That means parts of us dying. Ways of being that we’ve crafted to survive or protect ourselves or feel safe. We’re being asked to let go of those and open to new, higher, more supportive ways.
That takes trust—trust in ourself, trust in life, and ultimately trust in God. Trust is also a very Feminine attribute. It’s part of our inner Feminine, regardless of whether we’re men, women, or whatever.
So the gift I received is to feel and trust. I’m still integrating it. And it is a form of death to my old familiar way of being and surviving.
My belly feels very vulnerable, ready to contract and shut down at every lapse of awareness into the old, familiar pattern of defense. My energy body feels exceedingly sensitized and I’m aware of its high vibration, almost like the vibration of a hummingbird’s wings. My mind feels a bit dazed, yet it’s slowly starting to relax and integrate the new. And my heart feels like it’s beginning to open in a new way.
I’m especially excited about my heart.
I have a feeling of concern about the response this may bring up in all of you. I can imagine you might feel averse to the idea of needing to feel everything, including all the pain. Maybe you’ll decide you don’t like what I’m saying and will leave. That possibility feels both scary and sad to me.
The reality is, I’m still not thrilled about “feeling everything.” I wish there was an easier way. But I don’t think there is.
However, I have one big “ace” on my side. I may still be learning to fully trust God, but I do trust Mary Magdalene. I have the advantage of getting to feel Mary so directly. The same is true of Yeshua. Their state of being is supremely attractive. I have no question about my desire to attain that state myself.
So if feeling is what it takes, I’m willing. I hope you are, too, because I want companionship on this path. I already have some really good spiritual companions in high places. They’re inviting all of us to join them with open arms. And open hearts.

MARY MAGDALENE: You Are Starved for the Feminine
Received by Mercedes Kirkel
QUESTION: I’ve studied A Course in Miracles and I like some of the lessons. But the way it’s written upsets me. I feel angry that it’s so much in the Masculine, with pages that just say “He,” “him,” “his,” “brothers,” etc. I don’t believe that’s the way Yeshua spoke. I want to hear the Sacred Feminine, using the Feminine words that I believe Yeshua spoke in Aramaic.
MARY MAGDALENE: This is the beginning, right now, of this changing. When I say “right now” you must understand time. Right now is, for many, a vast period of time. But in terms of eternity, in terms of the wholeness of time, it is a very, very short period of time.
I came with Yeshua. We came to teach together and we knew the world was not ready. We gave our teaching. Those who had ears to hear, heard. What was recorded, and what was brought through in your world, was primarily the Masculine, because that was what most people were ready for. Now that is changing.
A Course in Miracles is an example, just as you sense, of a Masculine teaching in separation from the Feminine. A Course in Miracles contains gifts, just as you have received. The Masculine has very important gifts. Most of you are well on your way in receiving the Masculine gifts, because this has been so greatly supported in your world.
Most of you are starved for the Feminine, starved. It is not just your culture that is starved. It is not just your politics that is starved. It is your inner being that is starved for the Feminine. This is as true in your spiritual world as in all your other worlds. Most of those who teach in the spiritual world are men. But this perspective is not limited to men. Men and women alike have been denied the Feminine.
This is my work, to bring forth the Feminine. I am not alone—there are others. But it is specifically what I have come to do. It is the reason that so many respond to me, especially women.
The world was never successful in denying the Feminine. It never was truly possible. But your minds have been greatly fooled. Most of you need great help finding your way out of the labyrinth of your mind. When you do, your mind will be of great service to you. The mind is a tremendous gift from God. But it was never meant to be a gift to be used against the Feminine.
As I have spoken all along, and especially as was brought through in the messages that are recorded in Mary Magdalene Beckons, the work for all of you is to first and foremost bring in the Feminine within yourself. This means bringing forth the Feminine through your body, sexuality, and emotions.
You will probably notice that these three arenas—your body, sexuality, and emotions—are not very popular in most spiritual teachings. Many teachings go so far as to say these are the things that are the blocks to your spiritual growth. They teach that if you want to grow, you must separate yourself from your body, sexuality, and emotions. Many teachings assert that your body, sexuality, and/or emotions are not real and they are what will hold you back from your spiritual growth.
This is very sad. This is the perspective of the Masculine separated from the Feminine It was never Yeshua’s intention for that to be his teaching. Your intuitions are, of course, your truth. And your anger is your way of saying “No!” It is a way of calling back your power.
When people have given away their power, there is a stage they go through of great anger, often rage. In shamanic terms, this is understood as bringing back a piece of your soul that you have let wander away. So your anger is important. Anger is not to be denied. Yet it is to your benefit, and as directly as you are able, to get underneath the anger.
What is underneath is great grieving for what you have lost, what you have given away, what you have been separated from. So allow the anger to arise, but protect yourself and others. Do not make others a target of your anger. Do not make yourself a target of your anger. Let the anger lead to what is underneath. And there will be wailing and grieving. Then you can begin the process of reconnecting with the great Feminine.
Grieving is very unpopular in your world. People are often told not to grieve. People are told strategies to suppress grief, to deny it and move on with their life. But grieving is essential. Grieving is what grows you, in your soul. Grieving is what heals the pains. Grieving is not meant to be an eternal state that you get stuck in. The reason most people get stuck in grief is because they do not allow it. Grieving is therefore scary to many people. They have not seen how to grieve. They have not seen others grieve and understood that it is safe. They have not felt welcomed in their grief. So it takes courage to allow grief.
At this time, which is the beginning of the Feminine coming forth, your process is to let your anger turn to grief. You must let the grief go all the way down in your body to your second chakra, which is its home. Let it begin to open your second chakra and to purify you. Let it allow your beautiful Feminine energy to flow once again.
You are bringing this forth. You are a clear visionary and you are standing for this truth. So allow it in yourself. Stand for and as the Feminine, through allowing this process of grief in yourself, all the way through to opening your second chakra and your Feminine energy. Through that, be a demonstration to others that this is the way.
QUESTIONER: So then it’s alright if the grief and the anger come up? It’s OK to just express the grief?
MARY MAGDALENE: OK with who?
QUESTIONER: You. [laughter]
MARY MAGDALENE: See if it’s OK with you.
QUESTIONER: If it feels right.
MARY MAGDALENE: Yes.
