MARY MAGDALENE: How to Commune with Me, Yeshua, and Mother Mary

Question: What is the best way to be in deep communion with you, Yeshua, and Mother Mary?
Mary Magdalene: Thank you for this question.
It is different for different people. The first step is to open your heart and to be in your heart. For some people this is natural. Those people understand the pathway of being in their heart and listening to their heart. For others there is some work to do to open the heart and to be able to listen with your heart.
I focused on the steps that may be necessary for people to open to their heart in my first set of messages that I brought through to Mercedes, which are recorded in Mary Magdalene Beckons. This has everything to do with connecting with the Divine Feminine within.
For many people there are things that need healing in order to be open at the heart. The primary arenas that may need healing are your relationship to your body, your sexuality, and your emotions. If there is healing needed in any of these areas, it will likely impede your ability to be in your heart. In order to be in your heart, there may be preliminary work to do of opening any blocks you have in your relationship to your body, your sexuality and your emotions.
Once the heart is open, there is a progression that will occur. Your mind—which includes your lower mind, your rational thinking mind, as well as your subconscious mind of instincts, beliefs, impulses, memories—all of that will relax and will begin to operate in service to the heart, rather than dominating the heart. After that occurs your higher mind will open. Then the union of the higher mind and the heart can take place. At this point it may be through your higher mind that you are connecting to myself, Yeshua, Mother Mary, or whatever your guidance is, as well as through your heart.
Ultimately this becomes a union. The higher mind and the heart come into union, so there is a synthesis of these two. Then there isn’t a separation in your relating, where you feel like you are relating to the heart or the mind. You are relating to both as a whole.
In general, this is the process that people will go through. So you may find yourself at some step along this progression.
Is there something more specific that you wish to know?
Questioner: Will I be able to tell who I am connecting with, and does it matter? [laughter]
Mary Magdalene: It may matter to you.
You can always ask. Always ask about anything that you are unsure of.
The primary guidance for everyone is through their higher self. Additionally, most people have angels and guides who are helping them. You may communicate with these or you may not. It is not necessary that you do so, but for some people it is supportive and helpful.
So you can ask, “Is this my higher self?” “Is this one of my guides?” Is this one of my angels?” “Who is this?” They will let you know.

MARY MAGDALENE: Determining Your Life Purpose

Question: How does one determine their life purpose?
Mary Magdalene: For most people, the strongest indication is your passion. Your passion tells you who you are, your fundamental identity at your soul level. It is very sad that many are confused about passion and think of passion as something that is to be denied, when in fact, it’s showing you the path.
Many people also have the idea that soul purpose should occur a certain way, perhaps the way you’ve seen others who you identify as being on their soul path or having their soul purpose. You then compare yourself to those and think that yours should be similar, or else you don’t have a soul purpose. But soul purpose can take many, many forms. And it is not necessarily at all connected to what is considered valuable, or necessary, or successful in the conventional world.
Soul purpose is about your personal expression, which adds to the completeness of the whole. It is your contribution. By engaging your soul purpose, you also are engaging your soul path of growth. It will inevitably be very personal, unique, and individual for each person. It can also change during the course of your lifetime. You can fulfill a soul purpose and move on to another soul purpose.
It is your passion that will tell you more than anything what your soul purpose is. When you are truly doing your soul purpose, you are drawn to do that thing. You have energy for it; you want to do it; you do it even when you should be doing other things. Those are signs of soul purpose.
And engaging your soul purpose brings you joy. It lights up your being. You know you are doing your soul purpose when you feel so alive, so connected to God and all of God’s creation. Then you are doing your soul purpose.

Question: Mary, I feel this spiritual quickening in my life and I’m having trouble keeping up. Do you have any advice how to keep in balance with this? Things are just coming so fast. How do I integrate my physical life with the quickening of the spiritual life? The physical life is so slow and the spiritual life is so quick. I don’t know how to integrate that so that the physical life is in balance with the spiritual.
Mary Magdalene: It requires letting go. The more you’re holding on, the harder it will be—the more impossible, ultimately, it will be. The more you let go and surrender, then you will be able to do everything that is necessary to do.
Questioner: I don’t know what you mean by surrendering and let go. Can you explain that a little more?
Mary Magdalene: It’s calling for a greater degree of letting go, which is ultimately letting go in God. The first step is to become aware of how you may be holding on, trying to do it by third-dimensional, mechanical means. That is becoming less and less viable.
Part of this spiritual process is that you are in a process of transforming how things will get accomplished. More and more you’re being called upon to let go in God and let God direct you as to what to do. That will be the way that will be perfect.
Questioner: (Taking a big breath) OK, I can do it.
Mary Magdalene: You’ll get instant feedback whether you are doing it or not! (She laughs.)
Questioner: Thank you.
Mary Magdalene: This process of letting go of the third dimension is not easy. Your attachments to the third dimension are profound, profound. It is a kind of a death process. It is what beings experience when they let go of the third dimension in dying, and how difficult that is for many. This is part of why you practice things like meditation, because meditation is a form of that letting go, that release. Meditation trains you to more and more come from that place. There are these processes, and there are many various forms, but if it is a true meditation it is helping you to let go. That may be something to do more of.
Questioner: Right, absolutely. Thank you.
I still would like a little bit of clarity about how we are in the third dimension but also letting go of it. It sort of sounds like a contradiction.
Mary Magdalene: You’re letting go of the third dimensional process of being.
Questioner: Process of being vs. actually being here. We aren’t dying, we are just…
Mary Magdalene: Right. You’re more and more integrating a higher-dimensional way of being, even while you’re still here. You may be partly in the higher dimension. It may be a percentage of being here and being there.
The third dimension is very much about power. The way in the third dimension is about bringing power, or you might say “force,” to doing things. Many people are familiar with this when they think about willpower, doing things in a willful way. You’re now learning a different way and seeing that, more and more, the willful, forceful way causes great conflict and tension, and ultimately doesn’t work. As things get faster and faster, it will work less and less.

MARY MAGDALENE: When One’s Partner Isn’t Open to Sacred Sexuality

Question: I would like to ask for some insight into a relationship where only one of the partners is interested in sacred sexuality and the other is not open to the possibility. Can you speak to that?
Mary Magdalene: There could be many reasons for this. If it’s the woman who is open to sacred sexuality and the man who isn’t, it is oftentimes due to a fear on the man’s part. He may fear that he might be loosing something that he is happy with, that he values and doesn’t want to give up. Sometimes it is a fear of trying something new and perhaps not being successful at it. So it may be a fear of trusting his competence in this new arena that’s unknown, unfamiliar. Those are the two biggest reasons in the case of men, and often in the case of women, as well.
There is much about sacred sexuality that has to do with communication, because communication is an avenue for uncovering the blocks within oneself and also in relationship. Sacred sexuality requires emotional openness as the foundation. When there is one partner wanting to do something, such as sacred sexuality, and another partner not wanting to, it generally points to a breakdown in communication. Ultimately it is never really about sacred sexuality; it is about something else. The real issue may be something you can access on your own, or you may need support to access it. You may need a third party to help both of you understand what the real issue is. Nonetheless, the issue isn’t sacred sexuality. It is something else. Does that make sense?
Questioner: Yes it does. And if the other partner is not willing to even explore or discuss this, then is it better to leave such a relationship?
Mary Magdalene: It depends how important it is to you to be engaging sacred sexuality. There are certainly aspects of sacred sexuality that you can engage whether your partner is engaging it with you or not. And there are parts that require both people to be participating if you want to bring it into your sexuality.
So it is up to you how important this is for your happiness, your wellbeing, perhaps even for your soul path. And that is something no one can decide but you.

MARY MAGDALENE: The Soul Choice To Be Disabled

Mary Magdalene: It is so wonderful to be with all of you. Thank you all so very much for showing up, for being here, for being yourselves and bringing your light and your love into the world, doing your work at this time. It is so important what each one does. Thank you all for what you bring and what you do.
And now I would like to hear your questions. What questions do you have tonight that you would like help with?
Question: I would like to know how to best support people who are here and who are living with fetal alcohol syndrome.
Mary Magdalene: Where they are children of parents who are alcoholics?
Questioner: Right and they were born with brain damage because of the alcohol.
Mary Magdalene: Is there something specific about that that you want to know?
Questioner: Just how best to support them once they’re adults because it’s a lifelong disability.
Mary Magdalene: And what kind of things are they dealing with as adults?
Questioner: Poor executive functioning, unable to handle money, a lot of them have drug and alcohol issues themselves, very impulsive, very naive in the ways of the world. I’m just wondering if they have a special mission here and how best to support them.
Mary Magdalene: It may be helpful to understand that all beings come with a role and with a purpose. Beings also understand the incarnation that they are taking—which from our point of view may look very incapacitated in one or more ways. But from the soul’s point of view it’s not necessarily an incapacity. It may be that they are exploring a very different side of life than the normal, socially accepted side of life, or the path that is considered normal, productive, or useful.
To support them, tune in, as best you are able, to what it seems like their life path and life purpose is. Help them to harmonize with the world that they’re in, as best as possible. But their path may never be the same as the majority of people who incarnate. It may be a very different path—but not to say that that’s not completely in line with their soul’s purpose.

Mary Magdalene: I am sensing we’re getting near to the end. Is there one final question before we close?
Question: What is the spiritual purpose of this existence?
Mary Magdalene: It is to know God, always. You have endless possibilities for getting distracted from that. As you grow, those possibilities will have less and less hold on you, and you will be growing bigger and bigger, more and more magnificent yourself. At some point, you will realize the God you have sought is yourself and also everything else.
It is a little bit like your story of The Wizard of Oz. There was great wisdom in that. But it is not something that can be held as an idea. It is only something that can be achieved through your experience and being-ness. When it happens, you will know the difference.

Mary Magdalene: When you feel pain, turn to God. You may need a spiritual friend to help you in that moment if it is too hard for you to turn in the midst of pain. It is a good time to call on your strongest spiritual friend who will help you turn to God.
However you do it, through prayer or asking for help from another or meditating, turn to God first. Ask God to help you. Ask all your angels, Spirit helpers, and beings of light you’re connected to, to help you. Ask them to work with the situation. Ask them to connect with the Christ consciousness of the other people involved and to help you connect with Christ consciousness. Ask your Spirit helpers to connect with the Spirit helpers of any other beings involved. Ask for the highest outcome for all involved. Ask that, “Thy will be done,” which is a way of inviting the highest beings to be involved for the good of all. Ask that Christ consciousness be infused into the situation and that it alter the events in whatever way is for the best for all. Ask until you feel yourself let go. That is surrender. You will know it because you come to peace.
Ask to be guided as to what you should do. Then your actions will come from your connection to Christ consciousness, from your surrender and peace. You may do things you would never have thought of otherwise because your creativity has been opened up through your connection to Source. You are being infused with higher ideas. You might be guided to do what you would have done before you turned to God, but you will be doing it from a different place, from a place of peace and surrender.
Do this as often as you need to when you are in pain—physical pain or emotional pain. You might feel the surrender and peace for a while and then slip back into your old way of thinking—fearing the pain and worrying about what’s going to happen, perhaps feeling angry about what you think are the causes of the pain, maybe even angry about life or angry at God. “It’s not fair. Why me? What did I do to deserve this?” And so on. All of that is a sign that you’ve slipped back into your little mind, where you’re not connected to God. Then you need to take another step: go back to prayer, to meditation, to asking for help from someone stronger in that moment, to asking for help from God.
Asking is so important. We respect your free will. Even though we want to help you, we will not step in until you ask. We ask the same of you with others. Respect their free will. . . . Free choice is a divine attribute that you on Earth have been given, and respecting it is part of being aligned to the Divine. . . .
You are not alone. You are never alone. This is the greatest challenge for human beings to learn. It is the challenge of having been born as a seemingly separate individual. We are here with you always. Just call upon us, and we are here. We are powerful and we are for your highest good.
I love you, and my heart is with you.

MARY MAGDALENE: Helping a Young Man Transition Into Adulthood

Question: I have a son who is almost twenty years old. He’s becoming a man and right now there’s a bit of a separation in what he’s allowing me to do as his mother, and how close he’s allowing himself to be with me and to share with me. I would like to find out what I can do within myself to open a space that can bring more harmony, and more of an equality-based relationship as adults–instead of him feeling like I look at him as just a child, so we can have a better relationship.
Mary Magdalene: This is such an important transition that you are talking about. Just your awareness of it alone is a great blessing—to your son, especially, but also to you. I acknowledge you and honor you for this awareness that you are bringing.
This is such a critical moment in a young man’s life. He is separating from his childhood relationship to his mother. This will affect his future relationships with women as lovers and partners. So it is a very, very important transition, where he is allowed to sail on his own ship as a man. It is a transition that a man truly needs to make on his own. It is a rite of passage. It is wonderful if he has other men in his life who, first, can be role models for him and, second, who he can turn to if he needs support. Does he have this in his life?
Questioner: No, he doesn’t.
Mary Magdalene: This makes it more challenging.
What would be optimal at this point would be if there was a circle of men. It would be most optimal if they were spiritually aware, awake men who could take over guiding your son at this point, to the degree that he needs it, and could relieve you of feeling any remaining responsibility for guiding him into his autonomy as an adult. But if that is not the case, then what may be the best is to be very open with him in your communication. Explain to him your position. Explain that you feel a very important and wonderful transition is underway into him becoming an adult and an independent man, and that this will involve a change in your relationship with him. Explain that you’re celebrating this.
It would be very wonderful if you could find one or more ways to celebrate this, so that you actually made it into an outer transition, a rite of passage, in some form or other. It could be something as simple as a gift that you give or something more elaborate. If he’s open to some kind of ceremony, that would be wonderful, but he may not be open to that. It could be something like a trip that you take together. Make it something outer, where you actually mark this transition. That would be very wonderful.
Be open with him that you would like to transition into a new kind of relationship with him. Describe the relationship that you would like to have with him and also be honest about any reservations that you have. For example, tell him if there are some areas where you feel that he still needs further guidance, in a parental kind of role, and affirm that you want him to have that guidance. Consider together with him what would be the best way for him to receive that support that would satisfy both of you—satisfying his needs for autonomy, freedom, and independence and also satisfying your needs for feeling in integrity as his parent that you are providing the support that he needs for his highest good (to the best of your ability). That support does not necessarily have to come from you, but you need to see to it that it is provided in some form or other.
Does it feel like that would be a process that would work between you and your son?
Questioner: Yes. I just have to do it in a gentle way because he has resistance right now to me offering any kind of guidance. We’re doing better right now and we are taking a trip to a place where he’s more considered an adult. So I think that’s positive. Just talking to him as you’ve described, I can integrate that into our conversation.
Mary Magdalene: Yes. First of all celebrate, always celebrate. Acknowledge ways that you see him being responsible, capable, competent, making choices that you are so happy about. To really acknowledge those is very important, because part of his reactivity is his own insecurity. It may not appear that way when you’re on the receiving end in the moment, but he’s actually really needing support and reassurance, and partly giving that to himself in a kind of over-reactive way by taking the stance that he doesn’t need any help. So definitely acknowledge him.
Then acknowledge your needs, which are places that you still feel concerned, or nervous, or whatever. You need reassurance and you’re asking for his help to give you reassurance. Then give ideas of how you could get that reassurance. For example, you might say, “One way is if we talk about things together and you told me how you were going to handle it, and asked me if I felt comfortable with that—not because I’m going to tell you how to do it but because it will really help me. I need to know that you’re taking everything into account that I can see, and if you’re not that we can talk about it.” So you’re phrasing it in a way that you’re asking for his help to go through this transition, which is for both of you. He’s transitioning into being an autonomous, independent male. And you’re transitioning into letting go of the role of overseeing him and being able to trust and release him into the world as his own being. So you’re asking for his help in your transition that you’re making. This is what would be really valuable. Does that make sense?
Questioner: Yes. And he’s very sensitive so he would consider that as something that was important. So that’s a good way to do it. Thank you.
Mary Magdalene: Yes. And then you can suggest that you want to relate more as equals. You want to be able to put both your ideas on the table and come up with solutions that handle all the different aspects that are involved for both of you. So you’re not saying that you want to be in charge, but you’re not saying to him, “I bless you to do whatever you want and forget about me.” You’re suggesting, “Let’s create a new dynamic during this transition where we’re co-creating. That’s part of the transition toward you moving into creating your own life and me feeling totally at peace with that, so that I feel ready to let go and release you to that.” How does that sound?
Questioner: Good. That makes sense. I can do that.
Mary Magdalene: Wonderful. This will help him as he inevitably moves into being an autonomous, independent man, and then starts to open into relating to women from that position. This will create a trust for him in his future relationships with women, where he will start to learn how to co-create with a partner, rather than being distrustful and it being a potentially conflictual dynamic. This is what all people need as they move into adulthood and what so many didn’t receive. For men in particular, this is their challenge because many felt like they had to push away from their mother and escape in some ways. When they come to relating to a partner, to a woman, they’re still carrying that old imprint and they have trouble opening up to intimacy, trust, and co-creativity with a woman as an adult. So this will help him tremendously in his future relationships.
Questioner: Thank you.
Mary Magdalene: Thank you for your caring and your consciousness as you move through this transition with your son.
Questioner: I hope that I can do the best, from a different place than I would have a few years ago.
Mary Magdalene: Yes. Express that to your son, just in those kinds of ways. He will feel your heart.

MARY MAGDALENE: Do Abused Children Create Their Reality?

Question: Some people have a hard time with the idea that we create everything we experience when they think about people who are suffering. For example, did a child who has been sexually abused create that experience? Can you help explain this?
Mary Magdalene: Hello my dearest one. I come with my heart full of love for you and for all who share this question and will be tuning in to the answer. This is an age-old question that has troubled humans for time immemorial. Often it has been asked in this form: If God exists, why does He (or She) allow suffering?
Once again I will do my best to answer and to shed light on this question, so as to bring understanding, peace, and hopefully greater connection to God and the spiritual process. I will specifically address the question you initially asked of why, if humans create their own reality, is there suffering, especially in situations where those suffering seem helpless. I will take the example you offered of children who are sexually abused.
The first thing I want to acknowledge is that there is great suffering in these circumstances, both on the part of those receiving the abuse as well as on the part of those providing the abuse, though of course the forms of suffering are different. For now, let us focus on those receiving the abuse. I want to clarify that I see their suffering as absolutely real and often extremely difficult and painful for them, both at the time it occurs and afterward in terms of how it affects their life. I do not wish to deny or minimize this pain and suffering in any way.
When someone is in great pain or suffering in the third dimension, it is easy and often common to view them as a victim. When I use the term “victim,” I am referring to more than just the facts about their situation and the pain or suffering that they are experiencing as a result of that situation. I am referring to something else that is added to all of that. It is the idea that they are the recipients of some form of wrongdoing and that they are innocent in a way that makes them somehow more holy or pure or elevated, and certainly better than the one(s) who engaged the abuse in relation to them.
This is a very tender topic and I wish to discuss it with the utmost sensitivity and care for those who have gone through such situations and experienced great pain and suffering as a result. I have great compassion for such ones, and I am not saying that I like or support what occurred. I do not like or support any form of violence or harm done toward another. In fact, I see this as a huge part of the spiritual process beings at the third dimension are learning about and growing beyond—learning that it is not beneficial for anyone when harm is done to another, whether you are on the side of the one(s) doing or receiving the harm.
Because this is such a significant lesson in your dimension, a great deal of peoples’ life-lessons in their many incarnations are devoted to exploring this. This exploration happens in the form of taking on different experiences of the same issue in different lifetimes. In one lifetime a soul may be an abuser and in another lifetime the recipient of abuse. This is how souls learn all the different aspects of an issue.
When you are considering a particular soul who is in a particular situation, you must look at more than just that isolated lifetime to truly understand what is occurring in the greater spiritual picture. This is difficult for most humans, because most of you do not remember previous lifetimes—your own or others’. This is part of the design of your world, so that you can have the purest experience of your present lifetime, without being influenced by your prior knowledge. When you die and are returned to your inter-life state, you will remember your previous lifetimes and you will be able to understand your current lifetime in the greater context of all your lifetimes. This is when you will harvest the growth and fruits of your experiences in this lifetime and integrate with your full soul nature. This will prepare you to continue on with your soul journey in whatever way will serve your next stage of growth.
Many people on earth do not understand this process fully. Many do not believe in the greater picture of the soul’s journey, which includes many reincarnations. And many people do not understand how that relates to what occurs in your present life. This is compounded by the consciousness of the third dimension, which adds in ideas that you ultimately must transcend.
One of the ideas is that you have no choice over what happens to you. This is very much a part of the victim consciousness I was referring to earlier. This idea is especially strong for people when they think of children. Children are seen as “blank slates” that have no choice about their circumstances.
But the reality is that everyone has exercised choice about their circumstances in the pre-life state. You have a great deal of choice at that time about the circumstances and events of the life you are about to incarnate into, including what will happen to you when you are a child. Those who are in circumstances of abuse have, in general, chosen that as part of their life path.
Why would a soul make a choice to be abused as a child? One possibility is that they themselves have been an abuser in another incarnation. This is a painful thought for many who have been recipients of abuse, because they have experienced the pain and suffering that resulted from their abuse and it is additionally painful to consider that they may have caused similar pain and suffering for others. Yet isn’t this exactly the kind of insight and understanding that any soul would need in order to grow beyond the pattern of inflicting pain and suffering on others?
It is not that they have incarnated into a situation of abuse as punishment for their past deeds or because they need to suffer to absolve themselves of sin. These are human ideas that have been superimposed upon you. The real reason is all about soul growth. Many at the human level do not understand what the results are of inflicting pain and suffering on others, and so they need to learn these lessons and grow beyond the stage where it is still attractive to inflict pain and suffering. This kind of soul growth generally happens through experiences in the real world, and it most often happens over a series of many lifetimes.
Right now your world is riddled with circumstances of people inflicting pain and suffering on others. This happens physically, in cases such as war, domestic violence, crime, bullying, torture, and all kinds of physical acts that are tolerated socially but that result in pain and suffering for individuals or groups. This happens financially and socially, where individuals or groups are deprived of well-being by others. And it happens emotionally, where people are hurt by others at the emotional level in all kinds of ways. The inflicting of emotional pain is perhaps the most pervasive, and also the most subtle level of pain and suffering that is woven into the fabric of life in the third dimension.
Everyone who is still appearing in the third dimension is still in the process of growing beyond this consciousness and its resultant manifestation. You are growing beyond the consciousness that it is OK or necessary to hurt others. It is not necessary and it is not beneficial—to anyone. But you are all in the process of learning this.
Again, this may be difficult to hear, take in, and believe for many. You may feel that you do not hurt anyone—that it is others that hurt people but not you. You may feel that you or others are victims and are not responsible for the pain or suffering that you or others are feeling and experiencing. These are hallmarks of third-dimensional consciousness. They are based in separation and also in the belief of “me versus them,” that “I am fine, or good, or just, or of the light” and “others are dark, or evil, or bad, or the problem, or the cause of suffering.”
When you get to the place where you start to suspect yourself, you are making progress. When you get to the place of noticing the common denominator in all the various circumstances of your experience—that you are present in every one while all the other factors change—you are making progress. When you start to be more interested in your own growth and evolution than in pointing fingers at others, you are making progress. When you begin to go beyond blaming others or feeling separate from and superior to others who you experience as doing harm, you are making process. When you start to experience gratitude instead of resentment, you are making progress.
A person who has experienced abuse, at any age, may have a great deal of healing to do before they can get to the place of experiencing gratitude that is authentic, rather than an idea that they overlay on top of their suffering as a kind of suppression. That healing work is extremely important, including authentic grieving of their pain and suffering. True grieving is essential and is what will lead you to your soul’s growth. If that grieving is bypassed, the soul will likely require more experiences to receive those lessons.
At this time in your world, many do not understand and value the process of grieving. Many have substituted anger for grieving, being angry at the outer circumstances, and especially at those who seem to have caused the suffering, rather than doing the deep inner work to heal and grow from the suffering. Because of this, many people are stuck in their soul work. Ideas such as there being innocent victims are symptoms of such stuckness. To get beyond this, you require support from those who understand the grieving process and the spiritual gifts it provides.
This is why I gave the detailed instructions that are recorded in Mary Magdalene Beckons—to help people with this process of responding to pain and allow people to let their pain take them into greater union with God. The opportunity for such growth is why individuals chose their pain in the first place, even if they do not remember or realize that they did so.
It is also the case that some people have chosen the experience of receiving abuse, even as a child, as a form of service to the soul growth of the others involved. But most of the time the service is mutual. Everyone involved has chosen the circumstance because it provides the opportunity of soul growth for all.
I realize that there is tremendous pain and confusion in your world and that it is not easy to make sense of it all. I hope this has contributed to your understanding and your peace. Ultimately, I hope it has contributed to your ability to trust in God and surrender in the midst of that trust. That is your greatest resource and the most direct path of growth, as long as it is authentic.

MARY MAGDALENE: Finding Divinity In Challenges

Blessings my dear beloved,
Once again you have been going through a difficult time. I commend you on the way you have been going through this. You are doing an admirable job of traversing this passage, surfing the waters of your challenge, doing what needs to be done in the midst of this in terms of handling your business commitments and practical life, taking care of yourself, staying connected to Spirit, and nurturing yourself through this time. More than anything, what is most commendable is that you are not getting stuck in trying to figure out what to do, analyzing the problem, or discovering why this is happening. You are surrendering to it and staying on course in the midst of it, like a sailor at sea in the midst of a storm, trusting that you will be guided through. This is excellent, and the fruits of your choices are already manifesting, even if you cannot see them yet.
This is a deep test of your faith—more than a test, really. It is an opportunity for you to move into a deeper, more profound form of trust in the divine. And you are doing just that. This is why I am commending you, because I see what is happening in ways that you may not yet understand. You are also correct in believing that this is happening at a much larger scale, with many people. Your insights into how to traverse this passage are valuable and reassuring for many. So it is important that you continue to communicate what you are experiencing and how you are responding, along with your insights and understanding relative to the process.
You have noticed that your anger seems to be coming up in various “small” situations and ways. Of course no situation is small, ultimately. They are all important. What is small is the way that you are manifesting anger. Nonetheless, I am aware that this is disturbing and surprising for you, because you have not experienced yourself responding angrily in a very long time and believed that you had purified this part of yourself and would not be having these kinds of responses to people and situations any longer. This is evidence of a very deep psychic “housecleaning” that is going on. Again, this is happening for many people at this time, not only with you. But in your case, it is manifesting as a re-visiting of your pattern of getting angry in certain situations.
For you, this is about frustration and impatience with people being seemingly locked into third-dimensional ways of seeing things, when you see things in a different way, what could be called a “higher” form of consciousness, without meaning this in any sense of feeling superior. You have rightly understood that getting beyond the anger that is arising is about you seeing the divine in the people you’re encountering, even when the responses they are making are difficult for you. This is not just a form of compassion for their humanity—compassion for their sense of limitation in their circumstances or even actual hardship they are dealing with. What you’re being called to is deeper and more far-reaching than compassion, even though compassion is important and necessary.
What you are awakening to is a form of love. It’s about falling in love with the divinity of that being, even as they manifest or act out a form of limitation or challenge. You still see their divinity and you not only love it, but you assume your union with that divinity. You feel the sense of uniting in love with their essence, the heart of that individual. In that love, you feel the same acceptance, compassion, and forgiveness of them that you give to yourself in your own challenges. You actually feel supported by them at a profound level, because you recognize that they are you. That is stronger for you than the sense of separation.
This is a very profound and important shift. I am emphasizing it to help you to be aware of it. Then you can cooperate with it, flow with the river of what is happening, which is so much more important than the challenges you are experiencing. In fact, the challenges are helping you to make this shift. If all was going well and easily, you would most likely persist in your old mode of assuming separation. Your difficulties are helping you to open your heart to God in a whole new way. And you are responding perfectly. Yes, it is difficult. But my dear, I want you to see the ray of exquisite light of God that is emerging from your tender heart, and to celebrate that. I celebrate it most fully and welcome you into this new space with open arms and overflowing love.
