MARY MAGDALENE: Relationships and Monogamy
An Excerpt of a Channeling
Received By Mercedes Kirkel
On June 16, 2013
Question: When talking about the deep, love-filled union that you and Yeshua achieved together, were you a monogamous couple? Is monogamy representative of a true love or sacred sexuality type of relationship?
Mary Magdalene: We were in relationship at an extremely high level. At that level, relationship is so fulfilling, it is natural to simply be with one another. At that level, we do not make these kinds of pacts or delineations that you tend to make. So it never occurred to us to define our relationship in any particular way. It was a response at the highest levels of our being to each other.
It takes wisdom to understand where these questions come from. It takes discernment to understand if your motive is coming from your most high connection to God and your calling for that, or not. It is possible to have no limit on your loving. But it is not likely, because your desire is so fulfilled in your relationship. Yet it is possible that you may have this with more than one person.
In your world, having more than one partner is generally a distraction from the work that people have to do of growing in God. It is generally not based in the very highest motives. It is often based on a disconnection from God, where there is a sense of lack in receiving the exquisite properties that are always being offered. Out of that lack, one may feel a need to find it in a different person.
Oftentimes this lack is related to wounding. It’s related to a block within the person of actually receiving the love that they seek. They may have a deep wound, and out of that wound, a deep fear of opening to a level that will cause them to experience that wound. When they begin to approach this level of depth of love with a partner, they withdraw and seek another partner. This is done to protect them from that level of intimacy that will bring up the wound. But the best thing that they could do would be to bring up that wound, so that it could be healed.
Relationship will bring up everything that is necessary for healing. This is why it is wise to be strong in yourself and in your relationship to God, before you enter into relationship with a partner. This is why, when I began to talk today, I began with those two arenas—your relationship to yourself and to God, because they form the foundation. If they are not strong, you will bring extra challenge into your relationship.
When there is challenge in relationship, the first thing to look at is your relationship to yourself, your own inner Feminine and Masculine, and your relationship to God. See if there is work to be done there and if the challenge that is being brought up is guiding you to that work, so that you may do it.
In most cases, in your world, that will be the case with people who are considering the idea of multiple partnerships. They will see that there is actually their own work to be done, which will resolve the question in their mind.
But it is a possibility that people could be in relationships with more than one partner. Yet in your world it is not likely. Most of those relationships will tend to happen at higher levels. For some people, who are greatly drawn to seeking multiple partners, it is because they remember this possibility. But it is not what they came into the third dimension to actually experience. For most people, it is complicating their lives and their spiritual work to try to create this and sustain it. For most people, expanded relationships will be found at the subtler levels, in their relationships with their guides, in their relationship with God. It will not be necessary to manifest that at the physical level with multiple partners.

MARY MAGDALENE: The Feminine And Masculine Forms Of Meditation
Given to Mercedes Kirkel
On February 25, 2014
Question: I recently read that while in deep meditation you should place your attention on the Ka body (energy body) to build energy, and that if your mind wanders to fantasy you reduce the energy to the Ka. Many teachers/mentors suggest something quite different, saying you should use your meditation to visualize your desires or intentions. They say that during meditation the brain is in an alpha/theta state and you can release dross from the subconscious mind and replace it or reprogram it with compassion or a visualized intention. Can you clarify this for me?
Mary Magdalene: Greetings my beloved. I have heard your call, and I am here with you and happy to answer the question that has been asked. This is a valuable question, as it points to confusion that others may have.
There are many different meditation practices and many different ways to meditate. Fundamentally, the purpose of meditation is to move you into a higher state of consciousness and to experience and rest in, at least for a temporary period of time, the higher frequencies of manifestation, which you might call a higher dimension and which correspond to the higher state of consciousness you have reached.
There are two fundamental forms of meditation. One is a consciousness form and one is an energy form. These two forms can overlap. The consciousness form relates more to the Divine Masculine approach, drawing on the qualities and strengths of the Divine Masculine, which in its purest form manifests or is experienced as pure consciousness. This is rather difficult to describe and express accurately because of the limitations in your language, which don’t allow clear and direct expression of these concepts. Your language difficulty stems from the fact that, in the third dimension, there generally isn’t clear understanding and experience of these concepts and states. So they are generally expressed as best as possible, given these limitations.
The energy form of meditation is based in the Divine Feminine approach, because energy is a characteristic and quality of the Divine Feminine. This is all explained in great detail in the book, Mary Magdalene Beckons. It would be best to reference what is already contained in that book to understand the qualities, attributes, and differences between the Divine Feminine and Masculine in greater depth.
Fundamentally there are these two broad types of meditation, and there are many ways to access and deepen in both. There are also forms of meditation that draw on both the Masculine and the Feminine, to a greater or lesser extent.
The traditional spiritual forms of meditation that were developed in the East, especially in the traditions of Hinduism and Buddhism, tend to be primarily oriented to developing and growing in consciousness. In these practices, you are primarily working with your mind, quieting the lower mind and allowing the higher mind to be accessed. You have concentration practices, such as counting your breaths, becoming aware of your bodily experiences, becoming the witness or observer of all experience, asking questions into the nature of existence, and repeating mantras. All theses are techniques for bringing discipline to the lower mind so that it can relax and subside, thus allowing the higher mind to be accessed.
When the higher mind is accessed, you start to function from a higher consciousness and higher dimension. For most people, this will initially be the fourth dimension. Once the higher mind opens, there are various things that may happen. You may continue to focus on the pure state of consciousness and go more deeply into that state. This may feel like letting go of everything—all aspects of your body-mind—and resting in a state that is deeply refreshing. There may or may not be energy experiences that accompany this, such as a blissful feelings, visions, sounds, appearances of higher beings, etc. It is the choice of the practitioner how they want to proceed when the higher mind opens. They have the choice to continue into a greater connection with pure consciousness or to choose to go into the energy experiences. Neither is right or wrong, better or worse, higher or lower. But they will tend to have different results.
I suggest that you be clear what your intention is in choosing to meditate. If your intention is to clear the mind and refresh yourself deeply in the well of pure consciousness, then choose a meditation that supports that, and follow that form. In those meditations, when the higher mind opens, you will continue to connect as deeply as possible with pure consciousness. Then the instruction would be to not get involved in other phenomena that arise, such as energy experiences, creative thoughts, or various other experiences.
However, you may have a different intention in your meditation. If your intention is to solve problems, manifest a certain experience, or connect with higher beings, etc., you may choose to allow and follow these when they arise.
If I may use you as an example, Mercedes, you spent many years practicing a consciousness-based meditation and became very strong at that. At a certain point, quite a few years ago, you went through a profound awakening in consciousness. In your case, that consciousness practice was supported by other practices of disciplining your physical body, emotions, and energy, which are Feminine aspects of your being. Bringing discipline to them supported you in coming into balance and peace, freeing you to become more aware of consciousness and to go more deeply into the state of pure consciousness.
If the physical body, emotions, and energetic self do not have that kind of balance and peace, they will tend to distract you. Then it’s more difficult to become aware of the higher states of consciousness and to follow those into a deeper union with them. This is why spiritual life is generally engaged with accompanying lifestyle changes and practices, such as having a pure diet, or making choices about the company you keep or the kinds of stimulation you bring to your mind, body, and energetic self. These things all support you becoming more free to focus on and become attuned to pure consciousness.
I have been speaking about meditation up till now in its more Masculine form of uniting with pure consciounsess, bringing the practitioner into a greater sense of liberation, peace, and a certain kind of deep ecstasy of union with God, in a very pure form. I would also like to clarify the more Feminine form of meditation, which has to do with focusing on energy. Ultimately, the Feminine is all about energy. As you know from your scientist, Einstein, and many others as well, energy always has a counterpart in matter, form, or manifestation. This counterpart can be at a much subtler than the physical. You may experience energy as sound, light, or sensations that don’t seem to have a physical base. Creativity is another form of Feminine manifestation, as are the manifestation of subtle beings, such as angels or beings in higher dimensions. All of these forms of energy may become a focus for the Feminine form of mendation.
An example of a more Feminine-based meditation would be to focus your attention on manifesting a certain outcome or on finding a creative solution to a situation or problem. Shamanic journeying is a Feminine form of meditation, because it is based upon experiences in subtler realms of manifestation. It is often guided by a drum or ingestion of a substance that moves you into a different state of energy, as well as a different dimension of existence. Sacred sexuality practice is a Feminine form of energy meditation, because it follows the energy of sexuality to move you into higher states of manifestation. Certain forms of breathwork, such as holotropic breathing, can be practiced as Feminine forms of meditation, as they make use of the energy of the breath to move the practitioner into an altered, or higher, state.
As I said earlier, it is not that one way or the other is right or wrong, better or worse, superior or inferior. They have different purposes and outcomes. So it is to your benefit to become aware of the outcome you desire and to choose a meditation practice that supports that. It is also wise to be aware that different meditation practices appeal to different aspects of your being. Whether you are naturally strong in that aspect of your being will influence whether that form of meditation is accessible or easy for you. Many people have tried the more Masculine forms of meditation and concluded that they’re not capable of meditating, because they weren’t able to quiet their body, energy, or lower mind to the point that their higher mind opened up. Often, that is a sign that these people are not naturally strong in the more Masculine aspect of their being. If they were to engage a more Feminine form of meditation, such as shamanic journeying, sacred sexuality, or a manifestation process, they may have a very different experience, with much greater ease and success.
Truly, you are all both Feminine and Masculine. Ultimately it is to your benefit to develop both Feminine and Masculine approaches to meditation. That is the most direct route to growing into the higher dimensions. If I may use you as an example again, Mercedes, you now practice a form of meditation that is very balanced. It is both a consciousness practice and an energy practice. It allows you to rest in greater and greater connection with pure consciousness. At the same time, you use a portion of your meditation time for manifestation and for connection with higher beings. This has proven to be very effective and powerful for you in regularly accessing the fourth-dimensional state, with it’s attendant higher consciousness and higher abilities in the energy realm.
Most people in your culture at this time are not so easily able to relax the Feminine parts of their being and move into the pure Masculine. This is interesting, as you tend to live in a Masculine–dominated culture. Yet the Feminine and Masculine are always in balance, so in any given circumstance, if one is predominating in a certain way, the other will always show up in another arena as a form of balance. For most of you, it is at the subconscious level that you are mightily attached to the Feminine, even as your conscious life tends to be dominated by the Masculine. The strength of your subconscious attachment to the Feminine, in the form of your physical body, emotions, energy, and sexuality, as well as your tendency to be engaged in creative thinking (without the ability to set it aside through intention), tends to make it easier for most people to access meditation in a more Feminine form in your present day and age.
However, as I said before, the Masculine and Feminine are always in unity and ultimately cannot be separated, even though one or the other may seem to be the primary experience you are having at a given time in the third dimension. This is part of the third-dimensional consciousness and experience of separation. In the third dimension, the Masculine and Feminine seem to exist in separation. This is an illusion, but you will not fully realize it as such until you move beyond the third dimension.
Because of the inherent unity of the Masculine and Feminine, any meditation that you engage will ultimately involve both aspects of your being. While a consciousness-based meditation will lead you into a purer form of the Masculine gift of pure consciousness, it will also lead you to higher states of manifestation and abilities in those states, either during the meditation itself or afterwards in your more “ordinary” life. Similarly a Feminine-based, energy-style meditation will not only lead you to new experiences and states of energy and energetic manifestation. It will also lead you to higher states of consciousness.
Thus, any practice will ultimately lead you to the whole, because all is truly whole and in union. It is simply a matter of whether that practice leads you there more directly or more indirectly. It is also a matter of whether that practice is easy and more accessible for you. My suggestion is to choose the practice that is most natural and accessible to you, based on your own abilities, qualities, and strengths. It is also important to be aware of the intended outcome of a particular practice. Choose a certain practice based on whether it focuses on the outcome you are seeking. If you are able to connect with your higher self and your own guidance, this is the best form of directing you to the practice that is right for you. If you are not able to connect with your higher self or guidance, use your body, feelings, and intuition to guide you to the practice that is most attractive to you and to which you are drawn. Then observe the results and see if those are the results that you value and desire. If not, adjust your practice or seek a different one.
As always, you can pray and ask God to guide you to the practice that is best for you. I recommend prayer often in my messages and I do so intentionally, because so many of you forget that you can always ask for help and it will be given. My hope is to offer this reminder as a loving support, guiding you to the loving help that God always provides.
I hope this has been helpful in finding the form of meditation that is most supportive for you. Meditation is an important practice, which I highly recommend as a valuable aspect of living a spiritually-based life and experiencing the fruits of the higher dimensions and higher consciousness. May you all enjoy this. It will transform you and your world.
With much love and blessings,
I Am Mary Magdalene

MARY MAGDALENE: What Will Support You Most In Living In Your Heart
Part 3 of a Message
Received by Mercedes Kirkel
On October 3, 2013
Question: Which chakras or areas do people need to work on right now for their full illumination? What do you recommend to remove these blockages?
Mary Magdalene: Thank you for asking this question. I want to begin by saying that, obviously, it is unique for each person what their individual challenges or blockages are, what they need to work on, and what would be the best avenue for them for doing that work.
Nevertheless, there are patterns right now in your world and your culture, as far as what blockages people are experiencing, in general, relative to their chakras or to different areas of their lives, and what they can do about these blockages. I focused on this a lot in the first series of messages I gave to Mercedes, which are contained in the book, Mary Magdalene Beckons. I urge people to make use of that book for a very full and deep discussion of just this thing—the blockages that are presenting themselves and the specific actions people can take to move beyond these. But I will briefly reference what those are in a summary way right now.
The number one blockage that most people are experiencing, and which I believe is holding most people back in their spiritual growth more than anything else, is their blockage relative to emotions. Specifically this occurs when people are dealing with painful emotions. This is related to the second chakra, which is the chakra where most people have the most challenge. This is also the chakra of sexuality and relationships, and these are areas that many people are challenged in, as well.
The wonderful thing is that your challenge is also your opportunity. Your emotions, sexuality, and relationships are your greatest opportunities for spiritual growth at this time. This is related to what’s specifically being called for at this time for most people, which is to strengthen your inner Divine Feminine. Most people are underdeveloped in their inner Divine Feminine. It is an area that has been held back and actually withheld—culturally, educationally, and in many, many ways—for a very long time in your world. Most of you have developed your Masculine side rather exclusively, so now you are overdeveloped in your Masculine side and underdeveloped in your Feminine side. This is true for women and men. Everyone, regardless of your gender, needs to be strong in both.
At this time there is a great opening for the Divine Feminine. There is also great need for the Divine Feminine. It is required that the Divine Feminine become strong so that she can come into balance with the Divine Masculine. This needs to happen within all of you. Really it’s even greater than coming into balance. It’s coming into sacred union, the Divine Feminine and Masculine coming together in wholeness and oneness. It is a great, great beauty when you experience that.
I was most blessed to have that experience with my beloved Yeshua. It is not different from the experience that all of you will have, even within yourself, when you experience this union. It is a most wonderful thing. It is what you are all being called to, and in fact, what is required for you to make the transition into the new age before you.
Many of you are doing wonderful work in this area. But there is a great deal to be done. When this strengthening of the Divine Feminine is strong and full, it will allow you to live in your heart, as an ongoing, continual experience. I know that so many of you long for this, and it is underway. The thing that will support you the most in this is developing strength in your relationship to your emotions, and especially your painful emotions. That is the number one area that will help you more than anything else.
As I said earlier, I have explained how to do this in detail in my instructions in Mary Magdalene Beckons. It’s really quite a simple path. But for many, it will not be easy, because you are so trained in other ways that have excluded this. The basics are given in that book and I encourage all of you to make use of it. Transforming the way you respond to and make use of painful emotions will help you and your world more than anything else.
Thank you for your question. I send you my love and blessings.

MARY MAGDALENE: What Is Most Critical At This Time
Part 1 of a Message
Received by Mercedes Kirkel
On September 5, 2013
Hello everyone,
This is Mary Magdalene. Thank you to all of you who are listening and all of you who will be receiving this message in the future. I am so very happy to connect with all of you.
I wish to say a little bit about myself at this point. Some of you may already know this and some of you may be less familiar with what I’m about to share. I feel like it’s important to begin from this base of understanding about me and what I am bringing through at this time.
Many of you are familiar with me as a person who was recorded in the Bible as one of the followers of Jesus. My preferred way to refer to Jesus is through the name Yeshua, which is his Aramaic name. Aramaic was the language we were speaking at the time of his and my incarnation, two thousand years ago. So I will be referring to him as Yeshua, but this is the same one that many of you know as Jesus.
My relationship with Yeshua was a very sacred relationship. Everyone who was touched by him, who was involved with him in any way, had a sacred relationship with him. I had the great, great blessing and tremendous gift to be very close to him, in fact to be in sacred relationship with him. This is something I have explained in detail in the book Mary Magdalene Beckons: Join the River of Love. This is something that was not recorded in the Bible, for various reasons. The Bible was recorded long after our lifetimes. Those who decided what would and what would not be included in the Bible had their own decisions they were making and their own purposes. As part of that, it was decided that my story would largely not be included, except in very skeletal form.
But in fact, it is the case that I was Yeshua’s partner and we were in sacred relationship together. The reason for this is quite deep, quite complex. One aspect of it is that we both had work—very, very profound and important spiritual work—that we were bringing forth. It was understood that my part of this was to bring forth what I refer to as the Divine Feminine, or the Feminine face of God. I was incarnated with Yeshua as an example and a modeling of the union of Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine, in the form of a human man and woman.
But we also understood—Yeshua and myself, and others as well—that the world at that time was not ready for this aspect of our work and the teaching that we were bringing forth—the aspect of the Divine Feminine, the aspect of sacred relationship, the aspect of God having attributes or aspects that were both Masculine and Feminine. (Another way of saying this is Father-Mother-God.) At that time, two thousand years ago, the world was not prepared for this. We understood this. Even back when we were both physically incarnated, we knew that it would be two thousand years before the world was ready. That time has come. This is the time now. Not only is the world ready to receive the divine in Feminine form, and to receive my teaching of the Divine Feminine, but the world needs this. Receiving the Divine Feminine is very crucial to your time period right now.
There are many who are aware of this. I am not the first to say this and this occasion is certainly not the first time of this being stated. Many, many people who are aware, who are conscious, and many people who are tuned into higher beings are quite cognizant of this, that this is the time of the Divine Feminine coming through and coming forth, and that this is absolutely necessary right now.
This is one of the reasons why I have been coming through to Mercedes, as well as to other people. Part of my work is to be a leader in the transformation that humans are in the process of undergoing. This is a transformation from having the Divine Masculine as the predominant message you received and incarnated for a very long time. That message has predominated both in terms of your spirituality and also in terms of your more mundane world and aspects of that world—your politics, culture, education, and personal development. All of these have been quite dominated by the Masculine, what you could call the Divine Masculine. Now it is time for the Divine Feminine to come forth, to be incarnated, to be understood, and for all of you—men and women alike—to become strong in the Feminine, so that you can come into balance between the Masculine and the Feminine.
First and foremost, this must happen within yourselves. You all have your own inner Feminine and Masculine, which is a reflection or manifestation of the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine. For all of you, this is where the work originates, within yourselves. For many of you, this will require strengthening the Feminine, because this has not been supported and developed for a very, very long time. Even those of you who feel great love of the Feminine and the Divine Feminine, who feel very positively oriented toward the Feminine, even you often have work within yourselves to do to strengthen your inner Feminine. This is very practical work. There are very practical arenas that need to be developed for this to become strong, because it has been withheld from you, in so many ways, for so very long.
As I talked about in the messages that are recorded in the book Mary Magdalene Beckons, there are three primary arenas where the Feminine needs to be strong. It is within these three arenas that many people need to examine themselves and see what work they may have to do to complete the strengthening of the Feminine within. This is so important for people to do at this time. First and foremost, this is work for you to do with yourself, for your own strengthening and balancing. Secondly, this work needs to be done for your sacred relationships you will be engaging in your life, that these can come into balance. The third very important reason is that you are not only doing this work for yourself. You do this as service to humanity, for your whole world. As you transform, as you strengthen and develop and grow yourself, you are affecting what is accessible for people, what is available to people, and what is becoming strong for your whole world. Any time you do growth and transformation work for yourself, it affects everyone. That is very, very important at this time.
You are all at a very critical juncture, where there is great opportunity opening up for your world, and for human beings, in particular, to transition into a higher level of consciousness. This will be reflected in a higher dimension of reality coming in and being the realm that you all inhabit, that you know, that you live in and are manifesting in. This is the great opportunity you have at this time. Those of you who are on your spiritual path, who are light-workers, very likely those of you who are listening to me at this time, many of you are quite aware of this. I, and so many beings of the higher realms, thank you for all that you are doing to support this amazing transformation that is underway in your world. This is not only affecting the Earth. This transformation is so vast and involves so many places in your universe, all of which you are affecting through the spiritual work you are doing. It is most important. We thank all of you for this.
I am aware that I have wandered away a bit from where I started, which was explaining about the Divine Feminine and the arenas through which this manifests within each of you. Now I wish to return to that. What I want to explain is that there are these three arenas that are the foundation of the Divine Feminine within each one of you: the relationship with your physical body, the relationship with your sexuality, and the relationship with your emotions. For each of you, these are the places that I strongly urge you to examine and see what may need strengthening within yourself. This is what I talked about in great depth in the messages I gave in the book Mary Magdalene Beckons, along with my guidance and instruction as to what each of you can do to strengthen these areas. As I said at that time, of these three, the area that is most critical for the most people is the way that you respond to pain.
The area of emotions, for many people, is quite confusing. Your emotions are truly a gift from the divine that is rather unique to human beings in your realm. Yet many of you do not yet fully understand how to receive this gift that has been given to you in the emotional realm and how to work with emotions, particularly your painful emotions. This is the part that is most challenging for many of you. You did not receive help and support and guidance in understanding the pathway of how to respond to painful emotions, how to receive the gift from God that’s being given to you through these emotions, and how to make use of emotions to support your spiritual journey, to support your uniting with God.
Because you did not receive that instruction and that guidance, and because you do not fully understand it, I especially focused on that in my earlier messages that are recorded in Mary Magdalene Beckons. I gave detailed instruction about how you can respond differently to your painful emotions in a way that will be most supportive of you, most supportive of your spiritual connection, and most supportive of your forward movement in your spiritual evolution. I did this because, from my vantage point, this is the area that is holding most people back from their spiritual growth in general, and specifically from the incarnation of the Divine Feminine.
This is why I said earlier that while many of you are so positively oriented to the Divine Feminine and the Feminine in all her forms (which is a most wonderful thing), even so, for many of you there may still be work to do in these three arenas, and especially in the emotional arena in terms of how you respond to pain. I urge you to make use of the instruction I have given and to learn these pathways of incarnating the Divine Feminine, which will support you and help to transform you, and in that process, transform your world.

MARY MAGDALENE: Finding The Inner Marriage
Part 4 of a Message
Received by Mercedes Kirkel
On July 21, 2013
Question: If you and your loved one have separated, in what ways can you embody the Masculine and Feminine on your own?
Mary Magdalene: All of you have your inner Masculine and Feminine. This is something I spoke about in great depth through the messages that were given to Mercedes and then recorded in the book. [Mercedes’s note: Mary is referring to the book, Mary Magdalene Beckons: Join the River of Love.] It would be very helpful to familiarize yourself with the different paths of the inner Masculine and Feminine first. Then you can consider if there is anything that needs strengthening within yourself.
For most beings on the Earth at this time, there is an imbalance happening in the inner aspect. Most of you are developed and, in general, dominated by your inner Masculine, while being underdeveloped and weak in your inner Feminine. This is true for men, as well as women. It will often show up in different ways for men than it does for women. But both require their inner Feminine and inner Masculine to be strong.
Once you educate yourself about these different ways that the two manifest within, you can take stock and evaluate if there are parts of yourself that are underdeveloped. For most people, that will be the Feminine. Even for women today, it is still often the Feminine that is underdeveloped and causing imbalance. This is one of the things that causes many problems in relationships between partners. If you come into a relationship not being in balance yourself, you place demands on the relationship to try to establish that balance. These demands are often a great strain and even can be a breaking point for the relationship.
It is very important, as part of your spiritual work, to become familiar with these different parts of yourself, which are ultimately different parts of God. I call them the Masculine and Feminine face of God. For some people, referring to them as Feminine and Masculine is not comfortable. That is fine. They can find other ways of referring to them. But I think it is helpful. It is the way I see them, and know them, and have been trained to understand them. So I speak of them this way.
This is important for your own spiritual growth. A very important part of what is going to allow you to engage the ascension process is to complete your own inner work in the Masculine and Feminine. They must be in balance within yourself so that you can find the inner marriage, which is a wonderful state to experience and know. This is the inner marriage of the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine—ultimately the marriage of your heart, which is the seat of the Divine Feminine, and your sacred mind, which is the seat of the Divine Masculine. When these come into union through this sacred inner marriage, it becomes the doorway for moving into the next higher dimension.
This is quite important and valuable work. I encourage you to familiarize yourself with what I have offered in the past, because I believe that this will help people in ways that many people are not aware of yet.

Mary Magdalene: The Exquisite Gifts Men and Women Give to Each Other
Part 1 of a Message
Received By Mercedes Kirkel
On June 16, 2013
Blessings my dear ones—to all of you here today and all of you who will be hearing me in the future. Blessings to all of you. I am most happy to return, to communicate with you once again. I thank you for inviting me here and creating this beautiful space. To all of you beautiful beings who are holding this space and connecting with me, I say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love you and I am honored to be with you.
And yes, there are things that I wish to communicate with you today. As Mercedes described earlier, I have already been communicating with her, speaking with her about the relationship between the Masculine and the Feminine, which is so important and so dear to my heart. It is this which I feel many are struggling with right now. They are struggling within themselves, in terms of their relationship with their own Masculine and Feminine and the play between the two. This, of course, is always the foundation, always the root and source of any other aspects of the relationship between the Masculine and Feminine that you are dealing with. So this is the first arena that is most important to work with. It is what allows you to enter into the other forms of the relationship between the Masculine and Feminine.
There is another form of this relationship of the Masculine and Feminine, which I have talked about a great deal and is recorded in the book that Mercedes has brought through [Mary Magdalene Beckons: Join the River of Love]. This is the relationship of the Masculine and Feminine as aspects of God and how they relate to each other. You could call this the Masculine face of God or the Feminine face of God. You could also call it the Masculine form and the Feminine form of God. I have gone into great detail about this in the messages in the book, so I do not need to repeat that. But this is very important for people to understand and will help you in coming into balance with your own inner Masculine and inner Feminine, because they are inextricably linked to each other. Your inner Feminine is inextricably linked to the Divine Feminine and the Feminine form of God. Your inner Masculine is inextricably linked to the Divine Masculine and the Masculine form of God. So the Divine Feminine and Masculine is the next arena that is most important for people to understand.
The third most important arena in your world in the third dimension—and other dimensions as well—is to understand the relationship between men and women. This is a more outer relationship. It involves the Masculine and Feminine manifested in form as individual men and women having a particular gender. This is an area of great complication and confusion for many of you in your world. It is this that I want to speak about more today. But I began with talking about the inner Masculine and Feminine and the Divine Masculine and Feminine, because without understanding these, without being in right relationship to these, it will be very difficult for you to ever come into harmonious, easeful, and mutually supportive relationships in form between men and women, as they manifest in their unique genders.
Yet this is the place that many of you find yourselves in your life, struggling with your relationships with individuals who are of the other gender, and to a certain extent struggling with individuals who are of the same gender. Your relationships with the opposite gender and the same gender are different. At different times, in different ways, and with different people, you have struggles and challenges with each.
Some of this relates to your early childhood and what you learned in your early childhood. If you were blessed to have a mother and father who had a very healthy form of relating between men and women, then by and large you will have a much easier time in your relationships between men and women, because you learned by example and modeling at a very young and formative age how to navigate these kinds of relationships. A similar thing applies to your relationship with your siblings. It is not usually as impactful as your relationship with your parents, but for most people it will certainly have some effect. All these early relationships oftentimes influence your understanding, your ease, and your development relative to being able to relate between the Masculine and Feminine in form, in terms of men and women.
I wish to speak about my relationship with Yeshua, for I was blessed in so many ways to be in relationship with him. There is so much about our relationship that is a model for the kind of relationship that you have the potential of having and that will be deeply fulfilling for you, to the degree that you are able to experience this kind of relationship. Yeshua was the archetype, if you will, the epitome of the Divine Masculine in form in so many ways. He was deeply connected to the Masculine form of God, which is all about consciousness. His consciousness was exquisitely pure and that is the nature of consciousness. The ultimate purity is the consciousness of God.
Consciousness is that aspect which transcends this world. Because so many of you have a profound relationship to Yeshua and what he brought in, many of you understand in a very deep, whole-being way what it is to be connected to consciousness through his living, his manifestation of consciousness in human form. He brought consciousness into form so that people could have a direct experience of it. Because it was so pure, it is a very clear experience of the Masculine form of God.
There are many different ways to manifest consciousness. The highest form is to be connected to the Divine Father, the Masculine form of God, [brief pause] Divine Masculine. [brief pause] Please excuse me. I tend to lose myself as I talk about these things. I tend to find myself so drawn into this form, it is hard for me to stay focused on the communication I am making. But I will continue.
It is this aspect that men bring forth most strongly, or any person, man or woman, who is choosing a Masculine role. It is the aspect of consciousness which informs your thinking, it informs all of your mind, it informs your decision-making processes, it informs your choices as to how you will engage in the world, what actions you will choose to take. This is the form in a man-woman relationship that a man is most strong in, optimally, if he is taking the Masculine role.
It is why men tend to, you might say, come from their mind or live in their mind more, because they are more directly connected to consciousness through their minds. Many of you today are feeling imbalanced in being in your minds. And it is true that there is balance to be attained. But do not underestimate that the mind is a tremendous gift, a beautiful blessing that ultimately comes directly from God in the Masculine form.
The power of consciousness in the form of the mind is part of what makes you in the likeness of God. You are given consciousness through the Divine Masculine. The mind is part of what allows you to be a creative being, just as God is a creative being. It is an immense gift. It is also a responsibility, for there are many different ways the mind can be used. But if you align yourself to God, it will always be used in the highest form. That is what is intended and has always been intended.
I am going to shift now to the more Feminine side of God. The Feminine side of God is the beautiful form of Divine Feminine energy. In the Indian tradition there is a name for this. They call it “Shakti.” It is understood that Shakti is the creative force that manifests in form. Just as women are always the ones that bring forth new life, new beings, new creation, Shakti is the power of creativity in form. Today it is sad that many women are not naturally in touch with this Divine Feminine energy. In some ways, in today’s world, men are more in touch with it—not within themselves, but they are very clear that this is an exquisite gift that they receive from women. Sadly women have lost touch with this to a certain degree because there has been such a focus on developing the Masculine. They have lost touch with their own beauty, their power, their Divine gift of this Feminine energy. It is this Feminine energy that feeds the Masculine. It feeds the Masculine in terms of giving life-force, energy. It is nurturing and sustaining. It is the same nurturance and sustenance that allows a mother to sustain a baby, though of course, not in the same way. And not to say that men are babies by any means, once they outgrow that stage of life. But the Feminine has the power to sustain life. She does it in a different way in relationship with a man, a very blessed, exquisite way.
This is the fundamental play between the Masculine and the Feminine. The Masculine brings the force of consciousness—of clarity, insight, understanding, and determining direction. The Feminine brings the force of support, nurturance, energy, which feeds and gives life to this form of consciousness. The two together are able to manifest in life. It takes both to manifest. And the two feed each other. The Masculine (in the form of a man) cares for the Feminine (in the form of a woman) through bringing his consciousness to the woman. And the Feminine (in the form of a woman) cares for the Masculine (in the form of a man) through bringing her life-force and supportive energy to the man.
Of course, each individual can bring this to themselves. This is why you are able to live as individuals. But in general, a man will be stronger in the Masculine. And in general, a woman will be stronger in the Feminine. This is because it is natural for men and women to bring these gifts to each other and to create together through their unique gifts. The beauty of this is that when what they bring is pure and true, what can be created is greater than the sum of what they could create on their own.
This is the beauty of relationship, as I knew it with Yeshua. He brought me the force, the purity, the exquisite Masculine nature of his consciousness filled with God. He brought that light to me. I brought him the full blessings of the Feminine—the life-force that sustains and supports and cherishes. We both cherished each other in our own ways. And out of that we created together. We created the seed form for his teaching, his work, his gifts, for our gifts that we brought together to take root and to hold and to manifest. You can understand the strength of what we brought forth by seeing what has manifested for 2000 years and continues to manifest—perhaps not perfectly, perhaps influenced by other forces, other inputs. But there is an unmistakable manifestation that is still in process in the world that is of Yeshua and of our union together.
As a woman, it is my great delight to do everything I can to support the light that Yeshua brought into the world. As a man, it was his great delight to receive all of my love, my energy, my support, and to bring his light to me, to care for me in the most ultimate way. This is one of the greatest things that you can manifest in life, this union between the Masculine and the Feminine, when it is aligned to the highest purpose of the soul and to receiving God’s work, God’s direction, God’s being-ness in the highest, fullest form.
Many, many of you are in touch with this. You have this sense of longing for your partner of this nature. Some may call it their soul mate or their twin flame. The name is not significant. It is the relationship that is significant. When you find it you will know it, because your hearts are so fully open to each other, and your desire is to give to the other in this exquisite way and to receive the gifts of the other in this equally exquisite way.
For many of you, there will be aspects of your relationship that are not entirely easeful, that are challenging. This is actually another gift of relationship, because it reflects back to you anything that is still needing completion, healing, growth, or purifying in your own personal manifestation process—either of manifesting the Masculine and Feminine, or of opening fully to the Masculine and Feminine. Relationship is a great gift if you understand it in this way, which helps you in your own work of completion. When that work is complete, you will no longer experience those challenges.
Ultimately, when that work is complete, you will no longer experience this realm. This is a realm of physicality, of duality, of limitations in many ways, so it is inherently challenging. But since you are manifesting here now, it is a sign that you are not complete, that you are still in the process of completing your work here. As such, relationships can be a great support to you in showing you the areas that are needed for completion, as well as reconnecting you with this beautiful union of the Masculine and Feminine.
All forms of union of the Masculine and Feminine are ultimately a mirror of the union of the Divine Masculine and Feminine as Mother-Father God, who are always in union with each other. This is what brings the joy, the love, the rapture, the light in the male-female relationship. You are simply experiencing the perfection of the union of the Divine Masculine and Feminine.

Why Mary Magdalene Emphasizes Strengthening the Feminine
By Mercedes Kirkel
Question: Mary Magdalene has spoken of moving into a new time, a new phase of life for our planet, characterized by an enlivenment of the feminine principle, leading to restored balance of the masculine and feminine. And you described the male principle as the silent, transcendental aspect of life, while the female principle is the expression of that silent source that we observe in the manifest world.
But when I look around at the world I see people with an over-absorption in the expressed aspect of the world and an almost total ignorance and neglect of the silent source of life. In this view it appears that it’s the influence of the masculine silent core of life that’s missing and making life incomplete. In light of this, why does Mary emphasize the need for more of the feminine principle in the world?
Mercedes: The answer to this question lies in understanding that both the Masculine and Feminine have lower and higher aspects, and seeing how those parts interact.
Lets begin by looking at the Masculine. The higher Masculine is the transcendental, that which is beyond and prior to space, time, and all arising. It has been referred to as Consciousness, emptiness, the void, the Divine Masculine, or the Self. I think it’s the state that many people seek when they meditate—which they experience as peace, stillness, quiet, and purity. It’s also the state that many of the eastern spiritual traditions have been oriented towards achieving.
In contrast, the lower Masculine aspect is characterized by our lower mind, which is comprised of our rational, everyday thinking along with our subconscious thinking, such as instincts and beliefs. Willpower and intention are also a part of the lower Masculine. It’s not that the higher Masculine is better or the lower Masculine is worse. We actually need both and they serve us in different ways. The terms “higher” and “lower” are best understood as relating to the higher or lower dimensions, or characterized by a higher or lower frequency.
Now let’s shift to the Feminine. The Feminine is the vibratory energy of manifestation. In its lower form, we see the Feminine as everything manifested physically in our 3D world. But there’s a progressively subtler continuum of energy-based manifestation that includes other realms and forms such as the etheric (the realm that’s an energetic duplicate of the physical), sexual energy, and emotions, all the way up to very subtle forms such as visions, subtle sounds, angelic realms, etc. The highest form of the Feminine is pure Love.
If we put the Masculine and Feminine together, we see that the highest form of each is Consciousness and Love. I would say that both of these are what most people at this time are growing into. Those who are consciously on the spiritual path might be characterized as being more aware of one or both of these states and perhaps more intentionally working on realizing and living on the basis of these states. I say “consciously on the spiritual path” because I believe that everyone is on a spiritual path, whether they recognize it or not, and we’re all growing into Love and Consciousness.
However, for a long time our world has been primarily characterized by the lower aspects of both the Feminine and Masculine, and even now these tend to predominate. So we’ve tended to identify “reality” as the physical world and see ourselves as having a body and a mind. This is a fairly balanced Masculine-Feminine orientation, albeit in its lower form.
But there’s been another dynamic going on, which has also been the case for a very long time. The lower Masculine has been overpowering the lower Feminine. We can see this in many ways and arenas. At the most personal level, this has manifested as our being dominated by our thinking minds—what some people call the “monkey mind.” This has excluded our connection to our bodies, sexuality, energy, and emotions. As a result, many of us have lost touch with these Feminine aspects of ourselves and have become imbalanced by operating almost exclusively from our Masculine—our mind. This is true of both men and women today. And it’s reflected outwardly in our world and culture, including that many people are alienated from the Earth.
This is what Mary Magdalene is pointing to when she says that most of us are currently dominated by the Masculine. She explains that coming back into balance between the Masculine and Feminine is essential for us to move forward in our spiritual growth. In fact, she says this imbalance is keeping us from moving into the next level before us and that correcting this will do more to serve our spiritual growth than anything else. In her instruction to us in the book Mary Magdalene Beckons: Join the River of Love, she gives the specific steps we need to take to rectify this. And it all occurs at the individual level, within each one of us, men and women alike. Once we make this change within, it will inevitably be mirrored in our outer world.
She also points to a progression of what will occur as we become rebalanced. We begin by strengthening our relationship to our body, sexuality, and emotions. Of the three, she says that it’s our relationship to emotions, and specifically emotional pain, that needs the most help and will make the biggest difference. These three form the foundation of the lower Feminine within. Once they’re strong, they open the doorway for the Divine Feminine, or the higher aspect of the Feminine, to take her seat in the heart. Once this occurs, the lower Masculine, in the form of our rational mind and subconscious can relax into it’s relationship of being in service to the heart. And that allows the opening of the sacred mind, which is the seat of the Divine Masculine within.
There’s one more step, which Mary describes as the inner marriage of the Divine Feminine and Masculine—the union of the heart and sacred mind. This marriage marks the coming into balance, harmony, and union of these two aspects of ourselves and life. And it is the gateway that allows us to move into the next level of our spiritual evolution.
Mary describes herself as a midwife for birthing us into this new age. Helping us is her great passion and gift. To me she is the perfect person to be doing this, because she speaks from her own experience of knowing the magnificence of union with the Divine Masculine in the form of Yeshua (also known as Jesus).
Question: I still don’t understand WHY Mary’s primary emphasis is on developing the feminine to balance the over-developed lower masculine. Why not emphasize softening and reigning-in the lower masculine by bringing it back into full integration with Divine Masculine, and strengthening the overwhelmed lower feminine with more infusion of Divine Feminine? It seems natural to elevate the quality of mundane life by infusing it with more of the qualities of the Divine. If the lower masculine and lower feminine were brought to integration with their source energies, might they not settle into their own masculine/feminine balance?
Mercedes: What you’re describing is actually what the majority of spiritual paths have traditionally recommended. The classic eastern message was, “Don’t focus on this world; instead put your attention on the Transcendental.” The classic western message was, “Just love and create the Kingdom of God on earth.” Most people are attracted to those ideas and would like to do that. Unfortunately, it hasn’t worked for a great many people—certainly not sufficiently that they feel satisfied.
Both of those routes are examples of a Masculine approach, in which the goal or end result is identified and focused on. What Mary has said is that those approaches tend to work for people who are strong in their Masculine—those who respond well to discipline and use of intention. But there are many people who don’t find those approaches accessible or successful. They’ve tried meditation, but don’t feel able to do it. They’ve tried to love unconditionally and manifest positive things, but have come up short. Most of these people are naturally more aligned to the Feminine, either in general or in a particular circumstance. And they often end up concluding that they just aren’t “good enough,” “strong enough,” “spiritual enough,” or some other definition of failure.
What Mary is recommending is that we have access to both the Masculine and the Feminine approaches, so we can utilize whatever will serve us best in any particular situation. Since most of us have been well trained in the Masculine, while receiving very little, if any, guidance in the Feminine, our work at this point is to strengthen our Feminine, in the Feminine way. What that means is that we accept, embrace, and love who and what we are right now. We don’t try to focus on a goal and work on becoming that. We practice being with what is. And that means being with our current state of development. We open to our body, sexuality, and emotions and attend to whatever needs healing or growth or strengthening in those areas.
The body, sexuality, and emotion are exactly what the Masculine tends to want to get away from. This has led to traditional warnings to not get caught up in maya or “the world” or “women and gold.” Even pursuing the higher state of love can be used as a way of avoiding the “messier” parts of embodied life in the Masculine mode. By contrast, the Feminine path is to completely embrace what is right now. On that basis, we fully accept and trust that process and where it leads. It’s the opposite of focusing on the end point. It’s about completely surrendering to the present.
My experience is that this is a very effective process. What I especially appreciate is how it brings me to a place where I can meet and join the Masculine within. But I haven’t suppressed or denied anything. I’ve created a foundation of strength and integrity, which then gives me greater capacity to respond from my Masculine and my Feminine.
I urge people to learn more about this process by reading Mary’s instruction in MARY MAGDALENE BECKONS: JOIN THE RIVER OF LOVE. I believe this book offers the fullest explanation of this process, and can help us all to grow beyond our current limits. That is Mary’s great desire. And from the feedback I’ve heard from many people, her guidance is accomplishing just that.

Mary Magdalene: Receiving The Divine Feminine
An Excerpt From
MARY MAGDALENE BECKONS: JOIN THE RIVER OF LOVE
by Mercedes Kirkel
Greetings, beloved ~
I am here. Do not doubt my presence. Doubt is part of your mind. I am here to help free you from your doubting mind.
I have waited two thousand years to come forth, for the turning of the ages when the Divine Feminine can be received, honored, and reinstated in her rightful place as the equal partner and lover of the Divine Masculine. There is much to be done for this to be accomplished, for the Divine Feminine has suffered much repression and denial so that most are afraid of her and no longer know her. I am here to help change that. This is the time for the Feminine to come to the front, to lead in this progression into the new age. It is the time of love and honoring of the Feminine, listening to the Feminine, and allowing the Feminine to lead so that balance may be reestablished and we may become whole.
And what does this mean for all of you? You are in the process of learning to reconnect with, trust, and open to the Feminine within yourself—as your body, your sexuality, your emotions. You are learning to surrender your thinking to pure presence, to surrender your lower mind to the heart. In doing this, the veils surrounding your sacred mind can be lifted, and the marriage of the sacred heart and sacred mind can occur. You are to celebrate that marriage through the ongoing joy of bringing the light into your body, merging it with love, and sending this empowered love-light out into the world.
Many of you have become alienated from the Feminine within yourself. You’ve become afraid and cut off from your body and your emotions and your sexuality and your feeling heart. It will take practice and engagement of these sacred parts of yourself to reopen to these pathways of the Divine within you.
It is not enough to think about this change. It is not enough to gather knowledge. You are tending to be unbalanced with your collecting knowledge about the world, yourself, and what is happening. It can be helpful to understand, but that will not make a difference if it is not balanced with practice and action. It is like raising a child. If you are a parent and are raising a child, it can be helpful to read books, go to classes, and talk with others about raising children. But if that is all you do, you will not serve the children. Most important is what you actually do with the children that will make a difference for them, your engagement with them every day.
Right now, you are in a grand process of transformation and growth, and you are the parent to yourself. The most important thing is your engagement, your practice with yourself on a daily basis. The Feminine parts of yourself have suffered and are shut down, atrophied, from not being embraced and engaged for so long. So now it will take practice and engagement to change that.
There are some who understand this, who have engaged this practice themselves, and who can help you to learn these practices. This one who channels this message is such a one. Now is the time to learn these practices and engage them continually. It will take time, but such a short time compared to the eons of time that these parts of you have been shut down.
Your body is beautiful. Your sexuality is sacred. Your emotions are pathways to God. Your presence is a blessed gift. Your open heart is the most powerful vessel of transformation, of receiving divine light and empowering it with love. Understand this, but do not stop there. Learn the practices for receiving and transmitting love-light through all these channels, and practice this until it becomes a dance, a joy, a beautiful part of who you are and what you bring to all.
I love you most dearly. I champion your transformation, and through that the transformation of your world.
In love and light,
I AM Mary Magdalene
MERCEDES COMMENTARY:
This was the first transmission I received from Mary. I had just begun meditating when I felt a distinct, tangible presence near me. The presence seemed especially strong around my throat, where I clearly sensed a blockage of energy. I focused my intention on releasing whatever obstructions were keeping me from opening my throat center and allowing the energy to come through. Suddenly the voice of Mary Magdalene began to speak through me, and she gave the entire message, exactly as it is written above.
After receiving her communication, I rested for a moment, glowing with the wonder and beauty of what I’d been given. My sense of peace was short-lived, however, as a disturbing thought arose in my consciousness: I probably wouldn’t remember most of what she’d said! Without hesitating, I asked Mary to give me the message again while I typed it into my computer. And she did just that, repeating word for word exactly what she’d expressed the first time. If I had any remaining doubt that she had actually communicated with me, this second round of transmission totally dispelled my disbelief.
By the time she had finished, I felt infused with Mary’s energy and was in a transformed state. I felt blissful, yet balanced and calm: my body was rested, my heart wide open, and my mind clear and energized. I was thrilled to have received this exquisite, powerful message. And I was amazed at her brilliance, not only in terms of the quality of her ideas but also the way she delivered her entire message in perfect form. I simply recorded her words without changing anything, and suddenly I became the custodian of impeccable insight and wisdom.
At a deeper level, I was struck by the love and compassion flowing through her words. These qualities proved to be a hallmark of all her messages: Mary didn’t shy away from speaking directly about any topic, yet she voiced her ideas with kindness and care—as though shining the light of love on areas of darkness or shadow. I was amazed at the way she could address complex topics with grace and economy while still packing an enormous depth of meaning into each sentence. I came to see her style as characteristic of the way a higher-dimensional being thinks and communicates.
Mary began this communication by saying that doubt is part of our mind and that she is here to free us from it. It seems that living with chronic levels of doubt is an effect of separation from the Divine Feminine. When our minds are disconnected from the rest of ourselves—from our bodies, our sexuality, and our emotions (which Mary describes as the Feminine parts of our being)—one result is habitual doubt. I believe she wants to free us from our doubting minds through reuniting us with the Divine Feminine.
Because I have a strong tendency to doubt myself, Mary’s opening statement about doubt felt personal to me. I was immediately confronted with my doubt: Was she actually communicating with me? Or was I just fabricating this whole thing? Was I evolved enough as a spiritual being to be receiving a message from Mary Magdalene? And why would she choose me?
However, as soon as she had connected with me and my feelings of doubt, she moved on to a universal message, which I sensed was what she really wanted to speak about. It was as though she was speaking to me and through me—addressing everyone who experiences doubt in any form, since the roots of doubt reside in our divorce from the Feminine parts of ourselves.
After her initial references to doubt, Mary began speaking directly about the Divine Feminine, saying she’s waited two thousand years—since Yeshua’s life—to bring this message. The Divine Feminine has been suppressed and denied to the point that most of us fear the Feminine and are alienated from that part of life. But now, with the “turning of the ages,” the Divine Feminine is stepping forth to lead us into a new age. We are being called to love, honor, and listen to the Feminine, allowing her to lead us back into balance.
I understand the “turning of the ages” as a reference to a number of things: the transition out of the astrological age of Pisces into the age of Aquarius; the galactic alignment in 2012, which will usher in a new age of unity consciousness; and the predictions that we are on the brink of entering a new epoch in human history, which indigenous peoples sometimes refer to as the fifth world. Mary tells us that this new era is a time when the Divine Feminine can be reinstated in her rightful place as the equal partner and lover of the Divine Masculine.
Mary’s emphasis on creating a foundation of understanding about the Divine Feminine was evident in her tone of calm urgency. I realized that she wants people to understand that right now is a very special time, a time that is significantly different from times past. Through her inspiring, galvanizing words I understood that she is here as an emissary of the Divine Feminine to help guide us into a new chapter in our evolution. As she clearly proclaims, the time has finally come: the Divine Feminine can now take her seat alongside the Divine Masculine. That she has been waiting two thousand years to do so is quite remarkable to me. And her reference to the Divine Feminine as partner to the Divine Masculine strongly evokes her connection with Yeshua, opening a door in my heart of great tenderness and vulnerability as I am reminded of the love bond between them that’s at the core of her revelations.
Every time I return to this first message, I’m struck by Mary’s power as she calls for this change. Yet, her call does not in any sense indicate a desire for the Divine Feminine to take precedence over the Divine Masculine. She’s inviting us to equality, partnership, and ultimately to a union of the two. The Divine Masculine has been deprived of his partner for a very long time, and at last the partnership with her can be reestablished. This union isn’t just “out there” somewhere, outside of us. Mary emphasizes that this same partnership lives within each of us. Thus, she’s simultaneously calling us to partnership in the external world and to our wholeness as individually manifest beings.

Embracing The Body And Feelings Versus Letting Go
By Mercedes Kirkel
I recently received this question from a woman in Australia: “How can I reconcile the feminine path of looking more to the body and the feelings with the ascension process of slowly losing the physical body and also “mastering” the emotions? These seem to contradict, yet I know they can’t really.”
I really appreciate the depth of consideration I feel in this question. I wanted to share my response in this blog because I think others may be wondering something similar.
Mary Magdalene talks a lot about the differences between the Feminine and Masculine paths in Mary Magdalene Beckons: Join the River of Love. The first thing she emphasizes is that we all have the Feminine and Masculine within ourselves, regardless of whether we’re male or female. And all of us have received the same cultural training (for the most part) which, for a very long time, has greatly favored the Masculine, at the expense of the Feminine. As a result, most of us—including most women—are out of balance, being well-developed in our Masculine and underdeveloped in our Feminine.
So what exactly is the Feminine and Masculine? That’s a very large topic, which is addressed in depth in Mary Magdalene Beckons. Part of what Mary tells us is that within humans, the Feminine has three foundational arenas: our body, sexuality, and emotions. When our relationship tall three is strong, we’re able to live from our heart and embody the Divine Feminine aspect of human-beingness. The path to strengthening these three arenas (our body, sexuality, and emotions) is to fully embrace them as sacred functions and to heal any blocks we have to doing so (such as shame or dislike relative to our body). This form of embrace and love ultimately leads to union with God.
The Masculine path also leads to union with God, but through a different course. In the Masculine form, we overcome or transcend our blocks to God-union through discipline of body and mind, and we move into union through setting intentions and following through with action. This initially is directed through the will and lower mind. When both the Masculine and Feminine foundations are strong and the heart is open, the inner Divine Feminine leads us into union with the inner Divine Masculine, whose seat is in the higher mind.
Most of us are at a stage right now where we’ve strengthened our will and lower mind. Our educational system and culture in general is highly geared toward accomplishing this. What most of us are needing is to strengthen our Feminine foundations through embracing all the aspects of our body, sexuality, and emotions and relating to them as sacred. This is not generally taught and reinforced in our culture. Most of us have picked up our training in these areas in a somewhat “potluck” or happenstance way. So many of us have “holes” we’re still needing to strengthen in order to open fully to our inner Divine Feminine.
When we’ve completed our work of strengthening our inner Feminine and are seated in our heart, our inner Divine Feminine will naturally call to her partner, the inner Divine Masculine. It’s the nature of the Feminine is to be in union with the Masculine. This inner union is what Mary Magdalene refers to as the marriage of the sacred heart and sacred mind, and it’s currently our primary requirement for ascending into the fourth dimension. Mary states in no uncertain terms that our lack of balance and union between the Masculine and Feminine is the principle thing that’s holding most of us back in our spiritual evolution. And it really comes down to the embrace of our body, sexuality, and emotions—the parts of ourselves that have generally been most neglected, especially within spiritual traditions or paths.
So the embrace of our fully manifest aspects comes first. That embrace leads to mastery of the third dimensional levels of incarnation—mastery in relationship to the physical, sexual, emotional, the will, and the lower mind. That mastery is a big part of what we, as souls, came here (meaning to Earth and the third dimension) to experience and accomplish, both at the personal and the collective level.
Once we’ve fulfilled our soul’s purpose, relative to experiencing and mastering these levels, as well as completing any karma we have in these same arenas, we’re free to move on to the next dimension. It’s kind of like graduating from one grade to the next in the cosmic school of Earth.
At the fourth dimension, our situation and experience will be different. One of the main differences is that our physical circumstance will be much lighter and much less binding. So there’s a natural “letting go” that will happen relative to the physical, not because we’re trying to let go, but because our circumstance is different and it will be natural to us to relate to the physical in this lighter, freer way.
Simultaneous with that, our relationship to our emotions and lower mind will become much more important, because the fourth dimension is more concentrated in these arenas. So our mastery in these areas will become more essential. The degree to which we’ve achieved mastery prior to entering the fourth dimension will be a great support for us and will allow us to locate ourselves in the higher frequencies of the fourth dimension, which we generally will enjoy much more than the lower frequencies.
I think what’s most important about all of this is to understand what our “next steps” are that are before us now. I believe this whole process is a very natural, evolutionary process, similar to what a child goes through in any of its developmental leaps into a new stage. A child who is learning to walk doesn’t need to know that walking will lead to running, leaping, jumping, hopping, skipping, etc., not to mention dancing, playing football, or any of the myriad things walking allows to happen. A child has an advantage, in a sense, that their mind isn’t developed, so it doesn’t interfere with their one-pointed focus and perseverance in whatever they’re mastering.
We do have our minds, and they serve us very well in many ways. In our present circumstance, they can help us to understand what our current work is and help us to focus on that. It may be useful to understand the larger context in which all this is happening and where it’s all leading, as long as we don’t let that distract us from doing the real work of transformation that’s right in front of us.
Like a moth that’s becoming a butterfly, we’re all in a process of becoming, which may be confusing or unclear at times, especially if we’re accustomed to knowing what’s going to happen with our mind. I believe there’s something much bigger than our mind that’s directing this magnificent process, and we’re being given everything we need—even though it may not always appear that way. At some point, I think we’ll look back and see what a wonder this whole process has been, just as we might do now relative to our current lifetime and all we’ve gone through in our various steps of learning and development to become what we are now. Who would have known, from an earlier vantage point, where it was all leading. Yet from this perspective looking back, it may seem like a perfect, perhaps even miraculous, plan that had an amazing logic all along. We just couldn’t see it at the time.

Healing Trauma and the Consciousness of Nature
Part 2 of a Message from The Lord of Consciousness
Given through Mercedes Kirkel on August 13, 2012
Question: I have two dear friends that have come to me. I believe it’s because of my heart connection. They both are suffering from their war experiences in Viet Nam and holding tight to those stories. I want so much to be able to help them release that old story. Can you give me some insight into how to approach them?
The Lord of Consciousness: Yes. When people have a story they are holding onto, it is because there is some kind of emotion that has not been released. When it is a very traumatic story, it is often very traumatic emotion, great shocks that have been experienced that the beings do not know how to integrate and resolve. Talking and telling the story is an attempt to create this kind of resolution. It is often limited in its ability to achieve that, especially when it is a very powerful, strong experience.
There are a number of things that you can do to help. You can point the person towards the feelings that are behind the story, because that is what is trapped like ghosts within the person’s being—those feelings that they are still containing and have not felt the freedom or the safety to let them out. So that is one thing—to identify the feelings that are behind the story. That alone is a great support. If you are comfortable, you can invite the person to express or experience the feelings. But simply the identification alone will help tremendously. Giving it a name—words like horror, or shock, or whatever it is—and asking, “Is that what you felt?” or “Is that what you feel now?” can be extremely helpful.
There are two other things that can help. One is that beneath whatever feelings are there for the person, those feelings are always tied to something you might call “positive” that the person values. If you can identify the positive underneath the feeling, it is helpful. For example, in a war situation, the person might be feeling gut-wrenching pain over taking someone’s life because the positive is that they want to protect life, they want to support life. So with painful experiences, there’s a kind of duality in there. There’s the extremely painful emotion, but it’s tied to something beautiful, life-positive. If you can identify what’s underneath and hold both—hold the emotion and help the person to clarify what the positive was that that emotion is connected to—there is healing in that.
However, do not do this as a way to get out of painful feelings. Do not do this to suppress or push down the feelings, or to say, “Don’t feel that,” or “Yes, you feel that but really it was about this.” Do not make it an either-or. Hold both. “Yes, you have these feelings and they’re so strong, and it’s because of this positive thing that was blocked, that was not allowed to be the case.” Hold both at the same time, the painful feeling and the positive quality. That can be very helpful.
Then, when that is complete—and that may take a very long time to complete… It can happen in pieces, in stages. But you do not want to rush this. You need to give full space for that. When it feels like that is complete, then the last piece is the forgiveness piece. Most often what people are suffering is forgiveness of themselves. They have not forgiven themselves for what they engaged, what they experienced, what they participated in. This is something you can help people with.
Ask them what they need forgiveness for. Do they need to forgive others? Are they angry at others? Do they need to forgive them? What would they need to forgive them?
Do they need to forgive themselves?
Simply ask the question. Let them find the answer. If you have a strong intuition, you might suggest this thing or that thing, but only as a suggestion. Always turn it back to the person. Let them find it. They know. Their higher self knows what they need. But they may tremendously need support because it feels so overwhelming.
Is that helpful?
Questioner: Thank you. Yes.
The Lord of Consciousness: Always hold the person in love as you’re doing this. Always see them in their perfection. See the beautiful person, no matter what they did or others did. See them in their completeness, their wholeness, and their divinity. Do not use that to deny their pain. That is your work, as you are holding the container for them to fully express, and connect with, and own their pain.
Many people feel that the way to handle pain is to put it aside, move on, forget about it, let it go. Most of the time, this doesn’t work. Pain has a function. It is part of our healing. The way to most directly heal is to receive the gift of the pain. This is another thing that you can do, to ask them, “What is the gift of this pain? What has this pain brought to you that is a gift?” Until we receive the gift, it continues, because it’s for a purpose. It’s to help us. So rather than running away from the pain, trying to lose it, we need to receive the gift.
So it is very wonderful that these people have come to you. It is a sign that they are ready. They may not realize what they’re ready for or what they can do. But it is a sign. And it is a gift to you to help these people, as well.
Question: Can you speak to us about the consciousness of the mountains surrounding us in this region? [Santa Fe, New Mexico] What is the best way to connect with and amplify the message that that consciousness wants to bring forward?
The Lord of Consciousness: Mountains are a very strong aspect of the element of earth. They also hold a great deal of consciousness. Mountains have been understood throughout history as places of pilgrimage, places to receive spirit-messages from, because they are uniquely suited to connect you to earth and to consciousness, the sky-energy, at the same time. Part of receiving the gifts of mountains is to walk on the mountain, to hike, to be with the mountain physically. If you are able to do this with direct skin contact—bare feet, bare skin contact on the mountain, this is even stronger. Or perhaps a natural material, such as the Native Americans understood with leather, which carries the frequency of the mountain into your body. This is very valuable.
It is valuable to do ceremony, to honor the elements and to invite in your connection with spirit and spirit-beings. Fire, in particular, is valuable on mountains, the element of fire as part of your ceremony. And nighttime is also very strong on mountains.
Any natural feature that you bring your love, your devotion, your energy to, will respond. Mountains are very responsive. And so you engage your interaction with the mountain as a holy ceremony. You ask permission of the spirits to enter into this sacred space. You communicate with the spirits. You receive their messages. Listen to the trees. Let the trees guide you. Touch the trees. Receive the trees into your body, the trees’ energy, the trees’ wisdom. All the elements—the wind is especially strong in mountains and this carries the spirit. Be attuned and let the spirits guide you.
This is my recommendation.
[Silence for a time.]
Do you feel the spaciousness… the quiet… the vastness? These are the signs of consciousness. The depth… the sense of liberation… these are my gifts. And they are given in love.
With this, I have said enough for tonight. Blessings to all. I thank you for this time we have shared, this interchange.
Blessings.
