Question: I would like to hear you share about the energy of shame, how to open ourselves to looking at shame, without punishing ourselves for it or the things we want in life.

Mary Magdalene: Can you share more specifically what the source of the shame is that you’re asking about?

Questioner: I’ve had a long journey to explore shame in myself, especially as a woman, because women have been so held back from saying what we see, hear, or feel. It keeps us from living our lives fully and feeling what we have to birth in our hearts.

Mary Magdalene: That is the purpose of shame. Shame was cultivated to remove people from their power. It’s a technique of control, through convincing people they are bad, wrong, sinful, evil, or whatever the variation is. A hallmark of the third dimension is thinking that there is such a thing as right or wrong, good or bad.

Power and control is also a hallmark of the third dimension. It is what most souls have come here to explore. Power and control are the arena of this exploration. Good and bad are the methods of playing in that arena, by attempting to create power for some and take power away from others. This is one of the power games your world tends to be consumed with.

Shame is a part of that. Shame is a particular segment of the much-larger thinking and programming that says that there is such a thing as right or wrong. If there were no such thing as right or wrong, you wouldn’t feel shame.

Questioner: It feels like it goes into a place of polarization, taking us out of feeling our heart and having compassion and acceptance for our situation and our challenges. I want the clarity to not get into “I’m right and they’re wrong,” in moving out of shame.

Mary Magdalene: The greater practice is to go beyond right and wrong all together. In that process, healing shame is so important.

There are different arenas that most people tend to have shame. The first one is body shame. Most people in your world, especially in the United States, have great shame around their body. They don’t like their body, it’s not acceptable, and especially it’s not lovable. Most people have very specific ideas of what they would have to have to be lovable in their body—and they don’t qualify. Their body doesn’t match whatever that criteria is. This is a huge arena that needs healing for people and it is spiritual. It is a spiritual imperative that this healing be done relative to body shame.

Most people have shame relative to their sexuality. They feel it’s evil, sinful. They feel that they shouldn’t be involved with it, especially if they want to be spiritual or somehow more evolved or elevated. But even people who aren’t specifically interested in spirituality or religion tend to carry the general cultural message that sex is bad. On the other hand, sex is attractive. Sex is something people want and that they have a lot of attention and energy for. But there’s a secret quality to it, because they believe it is really bad.

People have shame relative to their emotions. Men have shame if they feel fear or sadness. Many men receive the message that they’re not a real man, or a real boy if they’re still young, if they show fear or sadness. Women often have shame about anger. There’s great healing to be done in these areas.

These are the Feminine arenas that have been identified as wrong, bad, unacceptable—your body, sexuality, and emotions. The Feminine arena is also where your power comes from. The mind does not have power. Your power comes from your Feminine.

There are other kinds of shame, where people have a sense at their core that there’s something the matter with them: “I’m just not OK. Everyone else is OK, but I’m different. I’m defective. I’m deficient.” Then they have ideas and beliefs that seem to back that up. This is extremely debilitating.

The healing work of all of shame is essential and most important. But as I said earlier, the real healing is the healing of the very idea that it is possible to be wrong; that it’s possible to be bad. That is the greatest healing you can bring, because this is what really binds and enslaves people. It is the very idea that “badness” or “wrongness” exist. This is what people’s true liberation will be.

I am not suggesting that people therefore take any action within the realm of possibilities. All actions have consequences. Some actions support love and light and some actions do not. The discernment is: Does this action support love and light or does it interfere with love and light? Not because the being or the action is inherently bad. All beings are on the path of incarnating love and light. The discernment is simply whether a particular action is moving you forward on your path of light and love or holding you back. That is all.

So that is the healing that is called for.

QUESTION: I’ve studied A Course in Miracles and I like some of the lessons. But the way it’s written upsets me.  I feel angry that it’s so much in the Masculine, with pages that just say “He,” “him,” “his,” “brothers,” etc. I don’t believe that’s the way Yeshua spoke. I want to hear the Sacred Feminine, using the Feminine words that I believe Yeshua spoke in Aramaic.

MARY MAGDALENE: This is the beginning, right now, of this changing. When I say “right now” you must understand time. Right now is, for many, a vast period of time. But in terms of eternity, in terms of the wholeness of time, it is a very, very short period of time.

I came with Yeshua. We came to teach together and we knew the world was not ready. We gave our teaching. Those who had ears to hear, heard. What was recorded, and what was brought through in your world, was primarily the Masculine, because that was what most people were ready for. Now that is changing.

A Course in Miracles is an example, just as you sense, of a Masculine teaching in separation from the Feminine. A Course in Miracles contains gifts, just as you have received. The Masculine has very important gifts. Most of you are well on your way in receiving the Masculine gifts, because this has been so greatly supported in your world.

Most of you are starved for the Feminine, starved. It is not just your culture that is starved. It is not just your politics that is starved. It is your inner being that is starved for the Feminine. This is as true in your spiritual world as in all your other worlds. Most of those who teach in the spiritual world are men. But this perspective is not limited to men. Men and women alike have been denied the Feminine.

This is my work, to bring forth the Feminine. I am not alone—there are others. But it is specifically what I have come to do. It is the reason that so many respond to me, especially women.

The world was never successful in denying the Feminine. It never was truly possible. But your minds have been greatly fooled. Most of you need great help finding your way out of the labyrinth of your mind. When you do, your mind will be of great service to you. The mind is a tremendous gift from God. But it was never meant to be a gift to be used against the Feminine.

As I have spoken all along, and especially as was brought through in the messages that are recorded in Mary Magdalene Beckons, the work for all of you is to first and foremost bring in the Feminine within yourself. This means bringing forth the Feminine through your body, sexuality, and emotions.

You will probably notice that these three arenas—your body, sexuality, and emotions—are not very popular in most spiritual teachings. Many teachings go so far as to say these are the things that are the blocks to your spiritual growth. They teach that if you want to grow, you must separate yourself from your body, sexuality, and emotions. Many teachings assert that your body, sexuality, and/or emotions are not real and they are what will hold you back from your spiritual growth.

This is very sad. This is the perspective of the Masculine separated from the Feminine It was never Yeshua’s intention for that to be his teaching. Your intuitions are, of course, your truth. And your anger is your way of saying “No!” It is a way of calling back your power.

When people have given away their power, there is a stage they go through of great anger, often rage. In shamanic terms, this is understood as bringing back a piece of your soul that you have let wander away. So your anger is important. Anger is not to be denied. Yet it is to your benefit, and as directly as you are able, to get underneath the anger.

What is underneath is great grieving for what you have lost, what you have given away, what you have been separated from. So allow the anger to arise, but protect yourself and others. Do not make others a target of your anger. Do not make yourself a target of your anger. Let the anger lead to what is underneath. And there will be wailing and grieving. Then you can begin the process of reconnecting with the great Feminine.

Grieving is very unpopular in your world. People are often told not to grieve. People are told strategies to suppress grief, to deny it and move on with their life. But grieving is essential. Grieving is what grows you, in your soul. Grieving is what heals the pains. Grieving is not meant to be an eternal state that you get stuck in. The reason most people get stuck in grief is because they do not allow it. Grieving is therefore scary to many people. They have not seen how to grieve. They have not seen others grieve and understood that it is safe. They have not felt welcomed in their grief. So it takes courage to allow grief.

At this time, which is the beginning of the Feminine coming forth, your process is to let your anger turn to grief. You must let the grief go all the way down in your body to your second chakra, which is its home. Let it begin to open your second chakra and to purify you. Let it allow your beautiful Feminine energy to flow once again.

You are bringing this forth. You are a clear visionary and you are standing for this truth. So allow it in yourself. Stand for and as the Feminine, through allowing this process of grief in yourself, all the way through to opening your second chakra and your Feminine energy. Through that, be a demonstration to others that this is the way.

QUESTIONER: So then it’s alright if the grief and the anger come up? It’s OK to just express the grief?

MARY MAGDALENE: OK with who?

QUESTIONER: You. [laughter]

MARY MAGDALENE: See if it’s OK with you.

QUESTIONER: If it feels right.

MARY MAGDALENE: Yes.

As many of you know, I am in the process of creating the new spirituality of COMMUNION^TM, which is focused on supporting people in “the ascension process,” or the transition to higher planes of reality. The guidance for this spiritual path has come through Mary Magdalene, and it has everything to do with uniting the Masculine and Feminine as our next step in the ascension process.

I have asked for feedback to my vision of COMMUNION and recently I received this from someone:

I would like to suggest names for the divine other than “God,” because for me that implies that the divine is male only and excludes the Divine Feminine.  The word “God” is fraught with such a destructive and painful history on this planet.  Wars have been fought in the name of God.  People have been excluded, oppressed, and even killed in the name of God.  I think that names such as Great Spirit, All That Is, the divine, Divine Father/Mother, etc. give us a broader image of the divine that does not assign a particular gender to it or exclude the other gender.

I appreciated this person offering their feedback, because I believe that whenever anyone has a concern, they are often representing a whole sector of people who feel similarly. I offered my response, explaining why I chose to use the word “God.” Afterward, I felt moved to share my explanation with everyone, because I believe there are others who hold this same question. Here’s what I wrote, which I share with the permission of the person I wrote it to:

I used to have the same reaction to the word “God,” and much preferred other words, including the ones you’re suggesting, for the same reasons.

When Mary started coming to me, she very specifically used the word “God,” and she used it with tremendous love and devotion, just the way you’d relate to the most beloved being you could possibly imagine, because that’s exactly what God is for her. She helped me to change my relationship to the word “God.” I came to love the term “God,” and what it referred to, the way that she does.

I absolutely know that Mary is not excluding the Feminine when she speaks of God. She could just as well say “Mother-Father God” or “Father-Mother God,” and sometimes she does. But she prefers to just say “God,” I think because it feels more personal and direct and intimate. I would say that for her, God is beyond gender and inclusive of all genders. God is absolute love and light. That definitely includes the Feminine, I have no doubt of that.

I hope that’s helpful to you. I hope that you’re able to go through the kind of healing I went through, in whatever way it happens for you, because it won’t necessarily take the form it took for me. I know now how wonderful it is to love God, unreservedly. The things that happened in the past that people connected with the term “God,” were about the people who did those things. Let the healing occur with them, so that you can become free in your relationship with God.

I was very amazed whenever Mary talked about painful things that were done by others in relation to her. She didn’t hold any anger or resentment toward them. She was clear that those things were about them and not her, and she wasn’t taking on their karma or pain. It was a profound demonstration for me.

I hope that’s helpful to you. My heart is touched by your honesty and I sense your longing of wanting to heal this. May it be so.

Question: Can you give any advice or a to-do list for developing one’s light body?

Mary Magdalene: Yes. Developing one’s light body is important. It is something that many do not realize. Even those who realize its importance don’t necessarily know the specific practical steps to take to engage this. So I thank you for this question.

The foundation of the light body is the etheric energy system, which, in human form, revolves around the chakras. Any chakra work that individuals do is very helpful for developing the grid of your internal light body.

Sacred sexuality is an excellent practice for developing your light body. The practices I gave, which were recorded by Mercedes in her second book, Sublime Union, can certainly be used for opening and strengthening your light body.

There are meditation practices that are very helpful for opening the light body. Many of the meditation processes that have been traditionally taught in your spiritual traditions and paths are consciousness meditations. These are excellent for developing the more Masculine aspect of yourself and your Masculine connection to God. However, these are not the same as energy meditations.

Energy meditations are excellent for support of your Feminine manifestation and your Feminine connection to God, which includes your energy body. These energy meditations involve the chakras, the heart, activating the pineal gland, opening your third eye, bringing light into the body, activating your merkaba, and practices with the breath. Breath is food for the energy body. All of these practices open, support, stabilize, and grow your energy body and your relationship to your energy body. So these are very valuable.

Many people find that one form of meditation or another may be more accessible to them. For some people, the more traditional, Masculine-oriented, consciousness-focusing meditation is more natural. For some people it is less natural. For the latter, energy meditation may be much easier and more accessible. It is very valuable to find the kind of meditation that is most accessible and helpful for you and to practice that form of meditation.

The fourth dimension is a very energetically based dimension. As you begin to transition and grow into the fourth dimension, developing your energy body becomes increasingly important. You can certainly learn these practices once you’re in the fourth dimension. But you will have a much easier time if you prepare yourself beforehand and begin to develop this part of yourself. So I highly recommend cultivating these energy practices now, because most people are in the midst of this process of moving into the fourth dimension.

When does one actually become able to transfer one’s consciousness to the light body?

Mary Magdalene: It is not so much about transferring your consciousness to the light body. Rather, you are integrating your consciousness and your light body. These two parts are more and more acting in concert and in harmony with each other. As you strengthen and develop your light body, this will happen naturally. It is not something you need to create or consciously intend. It will happen organically.

Is there more about this that I can help you with?

Questioner: Can you hang out for a few hours? [Audience laughter.]

Mary Magdalene: As you connect with your higher self, you can ask your higher self to direct you as to what you should do.

All of you experience your light body in your dreams. You know this part of yourself.

Many of you have experienced your light body at other times, as well. Perhaps you’ve experienced your light body in meditation or other spiritual activities. You might have experienced it through out-of-body experiences, near-death experiences, or under the influence of drugs. You may have experienced your light body when you were very tired or when you were in that in-between state, where you’re not fully conscious and not really asleep. If you have done shamanic work or journey work, you may have experienced your light body through that. There are many ways you can know your light body. You might be more connected to it than you’re acknowledging, even to yourself.

For many, there is continued growth and development to be done relative to the light body. This would be most valuable to undertake. There are teachers who can help you with this. Mercedes has skills and tools relative to this, and there are others, also. Working with a teacher can be most helpful.

Question: How might the Masculine assist and support the Feminine?

Mary Magdalene: Thank you so much for this question.

There is much that the Masculine can do to assist the Feminine, and there is much that the Feminine can do to assist the Masculine. Both are greatly needed.

In answer to your question on what the Masculine can do, it begins with understanding the necessity, value, and importance of the Feminine. This is a healing process in your world because the Feminine has been greatly devalued. For this healing to occur, your world must come out of the place where so much has been confined to the mind, which is the Masculine. For some of you, this is easier. For some of you, this is harder. But most of you have received tremendous training and enculturation to live in and from your mind.

It is not that the mind is bad. Your minds are amazing. Your minds are so valuable. It is just that you are out of balance and need to come into balance with the Feminine. The Feminine is your feeling nature. The Feminine is your connection to your body, energy, sexuality, intuition, and love.

So the first step is to begin to value these aspects of the Feminine and to stop the insistence that only the mind is valuable. Not every individual is necessarily doing this, but in general, your culture does this and has trained you to do so.

For many this work will begin with loving the Feminine within yourself. It will begin with loving your own body and treating your body as a temple. It will begin with healing shame that you carry relative to your own body, which is a plague in your modern world. So many carry so much shame relative to their body.

Valuing the Feminine will happen through falling in love with your energy and your sexuality. It will happen through healing your relationship to any part of yourself that says your energy or sexuality is sinful, evil, dirty, or shameful in any way. You will get to know your energy and your sexuality, and become strong in that. That strength is needed for your spiritual development.

The healing of the Feminine will happen through coming to know your emotions and allowing your emotions. Specifically, you will allow your emotions to do the work they were meant to do of connecting you to God through the Feminine pathway. This, more than anything else, is the process that most are ignorant of today, and it is so needed. Most have instead learned that emotions are to be avoided. Many have learned that being spiritual means not having negative emotions, only to be happy all the time. This is unfortunate, for your emotions are as valuable to you as your mind and as necessary.

So the process for many will be to start to open to emotions and to learn this process, this pathway, of letting your emotions take you to God. Let your emotions do the work that is so needed and which they were meant to do.

All these ways will very likely be the beginning of opening up to the Feminine within yourself and loving this Feminine part of yourself. When that happens, you will be well prepared and in a natural orientation to honor and value the Feminine outside yourself, in all its forms. This will include honoring, championing, and protecting the Earth. It will include honoring and valuing the Feminine in others, in women or in whatever form the Feminine comes.

The Masculine, especially in its higher form, can support the Feminine through being present and offering presence to the Feminine. Often the tendency of the Masculine is to want to help the Feminine by solving problems. But this is not the highest form. It can be valuable, if that is requested, but it is not the highest form. The highest form is to offer your presence and holding, which is a kind of protection at the energetic level. The Masculine creates the container that the Feminine can open within. This is an energetic process.

So this is one of the ways that the Masculine can be a tremendous support for the Feminine. When you learn to do this you will see that it is a great joy. And you will receive the blessings and gifts of the Feminine.

Mary Magdalene: Your future before you is a tremendous uniting of the Masculine and Feminine. It is what I have always had with Yeshua. It is one of the greatest gifts to know this and to live in this. It is unmistakable. As you grow into it and come to know it, it will be your great joy to support one another in this. Question: I recently heard the difference between the Feminine and the Masculine described this way: the Feminine is afraid of abandonment and the Masculine craves freedom. Is there a way to heal this or to bring it to union?

Mary Magdalene: I thank you for your question.

The highest understanding of the Masculine and the Feminine is that the Masculine is the force of pure consciousness, that which transcends all that is arising. This is the ultimate freedom and is so important. This is the Masculine form of God. It’s connection to pure consciousness.

The highest form of the Feminine is the vibratory energy of manifestation. The Feminine is consciousness made manifest, consciousness in form. Everything arising is the Feminine. Your entire world is the Feminine, in many ways. Yet at the same time it is nothing but consciousness.

The Masculine and the Feminine can never be disassociated from each other. They can never be apart from each other. It is only in your separation that you relate to them as different, as separate. They are always in union. They are two different aspects of the same oneness, completely loving each other.

To your mind, in the third dimension, they seem like opposites. The force of transcendence and the force of manifestation seem like two opposite forces. But this is simply a reflection of your mind. It is a reflection of your state of consciousness.

It is not that you are wrong. It is not that you are bad. To assume this kind of duality is a characteristic of the third dimension. Assuming the position of the Masculine and Feminine as being in opposition is one of the fundamental dualities of your dimension.

You could say that the Masculine and Feminine are polarized sides of the same oneness. That polarity is a great magnificence, a great joy, a great wonder, if you understand it as such. A great deal of the work before you in transcending into your next level of spiritual evolution at this time right now—and specifically in moving into the fourth dimension—is to realize the uniting of the Masculine and Feminine.

For most of you the uniting of the Masculine and Feminine will come as a progression. It will come in stages. It will not necessarily come all at once in its ultimate form. Initially it will come within yourself. It will come from knowing your inner Feminine and Masculine.

You’ll know your inner Feminine as the beauty of manifestation—as this beautiful body, energy, sexuality, emotions, love, heart, and your endless creativity in form. This is all part of the sheer beauty and magnificence of the Feminine.

The Feminine is nature. She includes everything you see in nature. The Feminine includes all beings that you know in the third dimension. The Feminine also includes all the beings in their higher form—the beings of light and the angelic realm. All of this is part of manifestation in its different degrees of frequency and vibration. It is all the beauty and magnificence of the Feminine.

At the same time, there is the glory and magnificence of the Masculine as pure consciousness, transcendence. Truly, everything is both. It is like the symbol you have of the yin-yang sign. Everything is both. You are in the process of realizing this. But first you will realize it within yourself. You will realize this wonder of the Feminine, which has been so greatly suppressed for so long in your culture and understanding, in your own connection to yourself, your world, and ultimately to God.

For many of you there is great healing to do relative to the Feminine to even understand and open to the Feminine, first within yourself. This is so whether you’re a man or woman. Then there is opening up to the Feminine in your world, as she manifests in so many ways.

The opening to the Feminine within yourself will allow your inner Feminine and Masculine to come into union. This is where it all begins. You will see the beauty of both. Neither the Feminine nor the Masculine are negatives. They are incredibly glorious aspects of God. And they are who you are. When you know these parts of yourself, when you fall in love with them, you will fall in love with yourself, truly.

Then you will be able to manifest these magnificent parts of yourself in your life and world. As all this happens, you will begin to transform. And as you transform, your world will transform. It is a great path before you, and you are somewhere in the midst of this journey, this process.

Question: Everything you’ve said has brought me tremendous peace. Can you talk about the peace and harmony that is to come with the harmony of the Masculine and Feminine?

Mary Magdalene: I am so glad that you are experiencing peace. This is one of the aspects of God. It is God’s light that is with you.

Peace, in general, is a sign of union with God. It is often a sign of our Masculine side. Our Feminine side will often take the form of love. When the Masculine and Feminine are united we will experience both immense peace and great love.

This is the future before all of you. All of you have known this, at some points in your life, perhaps to different degrees. And you have different abilities to sustain and maintain this. Your ability to stay founded in this peace and love is what is growing in you, so that it becomes less and less an occasional experience and more and more an ongoing state. And this is a great joy.

Question: You have said you were a priestess of Isis. Can you talk about the training and experiences of that process for yourself?

Mary Magdalene: I was trained from a very early age. As a girl, I lived at the temple for periods of time. In my adolescence, I began living at the temple full time. I was trained in so many things. A lot of my early training had to do with ritual.

In my earlier years I was especially developing my light body. There were many practices I was given to do that. I was in training with others. There were also ways that I was worked with individually. I was helped by those who are advanced.

We were also in service to the greater community. This was the purpose of ritual, by and large. It was to offer blessings and help for so many of the aspects of life of the greater culture. Even greater than the local culture, we were blessing and helping the culture of humans altogether.

I was trained in healing. I was trained in magic. I was trained in the ability to travel to higher dimensions, to work on different dimensions. And eventually, I was trained in sacred sexuality in preparation for my work with Yeshua.

I was trained to be not only a model, but a vehicle for the Divine Feminine to come through, as Yeshua was a model and vehicle for the Divine Masculine. We knew that it would be a long time for most people to open up to the Divine Feminine. We understood that, in general, it would be this time, now, when people would be doing that. And yet it was chosen that it would come through my form at that time. So I was prepared for that, as well.

That is what I can offer you at this time.

Question: How can we connect with all that is living on the Earth—the rocks, plants, and trees, and the night sky?

Mary Magdalene: This is most important.

It used to be much more natural for people to connect with Mother Earth and Father Sky. You had an immediate connection to these very important forces because you lived in a much more natural way. But now people are much more insulated and you live away from these forces. Much has been done in your world that has separated you from Mother Earth and Father Sky and has damaged these divine beings.

Connecting with all the beings on Earth, as well as in the sky, is most important for your own healing and spiritual foundation. It’s also essential for healing Mother Earth and Father Sky. It is a two-way path.

Ultimately Mother Earth and Father Sky live within you. If you are not feeling directly connected to them, it is probably a sign of you not being fully open to these parts of yourself, specifically within your chakra system. If you are not open to Mother Earth, it is often a sign that there is work to be done to fully open to your first chakra, your root chakra, which is your connection to physicality in your own body and in all of manifestation.

There are practices you can do to address this. The initial practices that I gave for the book Sublime Union are very much practices of opening the first chakra, as well as other chakras. These and other energy practices are very valuable.

For many it is necessary to spend time in nature, especially where you are physically in touch with nature through going barefoot or touching the earth, plants, and living organisms with your hands or any part of your body. Being in nature at nighttime—seeing the night sky, sleeping outdoors— and getting in sync with the rhythms of nature are all ways you can open yourself and connect with the life around you.

There are meditation practices that can help you to connect to Mother Earth and Father Sky and to maintain this connection. One is to practice feeding Mother Earth and Father Sky with your love. This is part of the healing that is so desperately needed at this time.

There is great work to be done in this whole area, but it is not difficult. If it is your intention, if you ask for this, if you open to this in your heart, your awareness, and your intention, it will be given to you. You will be guided to what to do and you can make an enormous difference.
