MARY MAGDALENE: Our Role and Yours

An Excerpt from Mercedes Kirkel’s Forthcoming Book
Mary Magdalene: Yeshua and I came to change the course of humanity. Humanity had been on a course of descent into manifestation over many millennia, which had taken humans from the highest planes down into the depths of the third dimension.
The third dimension is a school for learning about power. The setting for this school of the third dimension is physical embodiment, where beings believe in death and insufficiency—that there isn’t “enough” for everyone. Thus, people turn to power over others, fueled by competition, to survive and thrive.
Yeshua and I came to turn this trajectory of descension into ascension. We came to turn humanity’s course around into moving back into the higher dimensions, beginning with the fourth dimension.
The fourth dimension is a different kind of school, where the focus of learning is on manifestation or creation. The setting for the fourth-dimensional school is one’s light body and the etheric realm, like you experience when you dream. In the fourth dimension, beings are learning to consciously create the reality they want, which is ultimately a reality of love.
There are real changes that must occur in individuals and in your world for this change from 3D to 4D to happen. It’s not just a matter of believing certain things. It’s a change at the level of physics.
Part of what this shift required was the manifestation of the Divine Masculine and Feminine in physical embodiment. So Yeshua and I manifested into the Earth plane two thousand years ago. That was the beginning of what you might call “the incarnation phase” of our work.
The crucifixion was the culmination or completion of that phase of our work. It was a profound, energetic implanting of this new direction or course into the Earth realm. We were both prepared to do this, through many lifetimes of spiritual training, along with our training in that lifetime. And we were supported by others who were also prepared.
During the crucifixion, the vertical pole became a kind of “lightning rod” for Yeshua to bring down divine light. He then alchemically combined that light with his essence and life-force, and sent his transformed life-force down into the Earth—to be held by the Earth for all time.
Your Earth is alive. She is literally the Divine Mother in this plane. And She, Mother Earth, agreed to receive this higher energy, to feed humanity with it, and to anchor this shift into this realm.
My part during the crucifixion was to empower and strengthen Yeshua to do his work, through feeding him with my love and prayers. I did this in concert with Lady Mary (who many call “mother Mary”). It was necessary for us to support him in this way, in order for the process to be effective. This, too, was an alchemical process. It was all part of the greater process. We fed Yeshua with our love, empowering him to impart his life-force, imbued with divine light, into the Earth.
There’s a spiritual ceremony in the native American tradition that some of you are familiar with called sun dance. In this ceremony, individuals lash themselves to a tree for three days and nights, foregoing food and water, and praying the whole time. They do this to receive guidance and transformation from Spirit. As they undergo this ceremony, others support them in various ways, including praying for them.
Thinking of the sun dance may help you to understand what Yeshua and I were doing in the crucifixion, for there are similarities. It was an intentional spiritual process, for the sake of the Earth and its beings. Yeshua gave his life-force to activate a new direction on the Earth. And I, along with Lady Mary, empowered him to do so through our profound devotion and prayer.
What has come to be called “the resurrection” (in the Christian tradition) was Yeshua showing himself in his light body. This is the form you’ll all have in the fourth dimension, like you do when you dream. Yeshua was showing humanity where you’re headed. You don’t need to physically die to do this. It’s your attachment to the third dimension that must die.
You’re now the leaders of this movement. You must do the real work within yourself of releasing all your attachment to the third dimension—including power over others, which the third dimension is rooted in. You must replace this with the real skills for living and creating in the fourth-dimensional way. There are ones among you who know how to do this and want to help you. Make use of their help and let this become your reality.
We ‘ve done our part. The seed is planted. It’s waiting for you, whenever you’re ready.

MARY MAGDALENE: The Call of Love

Beloveds,
I come to you today, through Mercedes, to share my love with you. It is the same as my love for Yeshua. And it is Yeshua’s love. They are all the same. I was immeasurably blessed to love Yeshua in human form, to be his twin flame. And the same love is available to you.
There is no separation in this love. No separation between me and you. No separation between Yeshua and you. This love is the greatest gift our Supreme Creator has given us. It is worth everything. Give everything for this love, for this love gives everything to you.
I hear you ask, “How do you know this love?” You know much about this love already. It is known as you grow spiritually. The measure of your spiritual growth is your heart opening. When your heart opens it is filled by love.
Sometimes you experience this love for no reason. Sometimes when you love another you experience this love. You may experience this love when you feel completely at peace; or when you commune with nature; or when you’re deeply in touch with yourself, your soul. Whenever you connect with God, in whatever way you do, you experience this love.
In this world you think you are separate, cut off. It is not so but you think it is. Love is the bridge that connects you to your true state. It may be for a moment, or forever, or anything in-between. Eventually this union will not disappear, but it will take growth for most of you to experience that. It is what you are all growing toward. You are drawn toward it like a moth to the light. Even if you don’t understand, you are drawn toward love. And so it should be, for God is love and you are love. Love is your nature.
Love is the nature of All That Is.
I have told you much about how you can grow in love at this time and what are your next steps forward. Some are calling this growth in love the ascension process and that is as good a name as any. You are growing into higher states of consciousness and with that will come more love. You are not growing away from anything or leaving anything behind. It is not an escape. It is an expansion to include more of who you are, more of All That Is.
As I have said many times, the area that is most important for so many of you is the emotional realm. You must expand to include all of your emotions, to love all of them and embrace all of them. This is the pivotal piece at this moment in time, which will allow you to move forward. Your emotions are like a woman. Indeed, they are part of your Feminine side—within each of you, men and women.
The way that you relate to your emotions is a reflection of the way that you relate to women altogether. Are you afraid of them? Do you minimize them? Do you try to avoid them? Do you deny them? Are you at a loss with what to do with them? Are you convinced they will drag you down into an abyss of suffering?
This is part of the consciousness of separation. It has everything to do with the separation of the Masculine from the Feminine, including your own inner Masculine and Feminine, and how you relate to these aspects within yourself. This time is the clarion call, the ripe moment when you and everyone are being called to heal this form of separation. If you do this it will catapult you further into your growth and evolution, into the state of love that your being longs for. Are you ready to love the Feminine, including your own inner Feminine? Have you had enough of separation? It is up to you and the choice is pivotal.
Yeshua was not afraid of women. He had no need to separate himself from the Feminine. He was in union with all. He lived this and breathed it and walked it and radiated it to all. Now you are called to do the same.
I love you, all of you, and support you always in love.

What’s “Feminine” and “Masculine” Got to Do with It?

Tina Turner immortalized the question, “What’s love got to do with it?”. Now I notice a spin-off of that question dancing through my mind: “What’s ‘Feminine’ and ‘Masculine’ got to do with it?” Of course, my question isn’t as catchy as Tina’s phrase, which only goes to prove I’m not Tina Turner (in case there was any doubt in anyone’s mind!).
My question (“What’s ‘Feminine’ and ‘Masculine’ got to do with it?”) has come out of conversations I’ve been having with people (in my mind) about my just-released book THE HOLY GRAIL: Sacred Masculine & Divine Feminine. As I talked about previously, I haven’t had the energy to discuss and promote this book the way I wish I could because of my health challenges. But that hasn’t stopped me from thinking about what I would like to be saying.
So I’ve been having imaginary conversations with all of you. In those conversations, I share why I care so deeply about this book and what it offers to readers. I explain that Yeshua (Jesus) and Mary Magdalene are bringing information that I think will be new to most people. And that information has everything to do with the Masculine and Feminine, really the sacred Masculine and the divine Feminine. They delve into a number of fascinating topics, including what the Holy Grail really is; what the underlying nature of our world is; and what we need to grow into higher dimensions. And all of that has to do with the Feminine and Masculine.
This isn’t about gender, as in men and women. This is about all humans because we all have our inner Masculine and Feminine. And we all have the higher octaves of those inner parts of ourselves.
I especially hope that men and women thought-leaders and event-leaders in the growing field of the Sacred Masculine and/or Divine Feminine will receive this information, because it provides such a crucial understanding relative to our Masculine and Feminine nature. I see THE HOLY GRAIL becoming essential reading for all those seeking the higher expression of Masculine and Feminine, taking its place amongst other classics such as The Chalice and the Blade; When God Was a Woman; Iron John; and King, Warrior, Magician, Lover (not to mention the many writings about Jesus, King Arthur, and the Holy Grail).
But this isn’t just a book for leaders and teachers. It’s for everyone who wants to grow and be the highest version of themselves, and those who want our world to be the highest version of itself. May we all receive this guidance and may it make a difference.

Living Mary Magdalene’s Path

As the saying goes, I have good news and bad news. Actually, I don’t believe in “good” and “bad.” So I’ll rephrase that: I have happy news and sad news.
First the happy news. We’ve had terrific sales of my new book, THE HOLY GRAIL: SACRED MASCULINE & DIVINE FEMININE since it was launched over the Memorial Day weekend. And we made it to #1 Best Seller on Amazon. YAY!!!!! Thank you so much to all of you who made that happen.
Now for my sad news. I have so wanted to do an online event for the launch of the new book. I want to share about what’s in the book and why it’s such an important message. And I haven’t had the energy to pull that off. I feel very sad about this.
In the past, I absolutely would have done this. I know that and knowing it makes it harder. This has been one of the difficult parts of my healing journey. I’ve struggled to accept who I am now, which is different than how I used to be.
I haven’t given up hope that my level of wellness and energy may change in the future. Maybe it will. Maybe it won’t. I don’t know. What I know is the now, which is what I’m struggling with.
Mary Magdalene tells us to embrace pain and let it guide us to the beautiful part of ourself we’ve gotten disconnected from. So I’m asking myself, “What is this pain—of not being able to share this book with you in the way I would like—pointing to?”
I feel deeper, letting the pain guide me. The feelings are sadness, despair, and powerlessness. They are my guides, like lights in a cave of darkness pointing the way into the core of my inner world.
The sadness guides me to my inner divine quality of support—I want to support Yeshua’s and Mary’s profound work, and to support people in receiving and benefitting from it.
The despair guides me to my inner divine qualities of wellness and wholeness, which I long for, for myself.
The powerlessness is because I want to contribute—to Mary’s and Yeshua’s work and also to all of you.
A shift is now underway. The painful feelings—of sadness, despair, and powerlessness—recede and dissolve, as the beauty of my inner divinity outshines the darkness, like the sun emerging from behind clouds. My inner divine qualities of support, wholeness, and contribution live in me, always, in their fulfilled state. They are of God and live in me as my God-fullness. I can’t lose that. I can only get disconnected from it.
How I express that inner divinity will shift, in fact is always shifting. We suffer when we try to hold on to the outer expression instead of the inner divinity. The inner divinity doesn’t change. The outer expression is perpetual change.
My spiritual work is to live from my inner divinity and allow it to express itself in the way that’s true in this moment. Not in the past, not in the old form. In the now.
I feel myself settle into peace. Into contentment. Into trust.
I ask God to guide me to whatever action is right for me now, which expresses this moment of divinity. That action is enough. It’s more than enough. It’s perfect.
The action I’m guided to is to make a request of all of you. If you know me, you know I’m always making requests. It’s something else I’ve learned from Mary Magdalene, to ask for what I want. I’ve seen that it can be hard to request what we really want because then we become vulnerable. This, too, is part of growing our heart.
Here’s my request. What I really want is for everyone to get a copy of THE HOLY GRAIL: SACRED MASCULINE & DIVINE FEMININE and to read it. Then I want you to write to me and tell me your thoughts and feelings about what Yeshua and Mary are sharing. Instead of telling you my thoughts and feelings, I’ll listen to yours.
Would you do that? I would love it if you would. Just thinking about it is making me very happy. My sadness has shifted to happiness.

“I’m a spiritual channel, which means I communicate with higher beings. I’ve been blessed to communicate with many amazing beings, but especially with Yeshua and Mary Magdalene. My channeling began in 2010 when Mary Magdalene first came to me. Over the course of a month, Mary downloaded an entire book of groundbreaking spiritual wisdom to me. Those messages are recorded in Mary Magdalene Beckons.
“After the publication of that book, I spent a number of years helping people understand and apply Mary’s teaching in their lives. My Near Death Experience

This week I had a near death experience (NDE). That’s a first for me, though I’ve heard accounts of others having an NDE.
Mine was pretty short. It happened while I was asleep—or more accurately, I was asleep until I had the NDE. Some have suggested it was merely a dream, but I don’t think so. It was extremely vivid and real, and I felt totally lucid.
It started with my mother coming to me. My mother died seven years ago and I don’t often think about her anymore. But she was definitely there. It was her presence, which I know so well. And when she spoke it was her voice.
She said to me, “I’ve come to take you.” I felt filled with peace and bliss, and delighted to hear her say this. I responded back, “OK.” Then she reached out her hand and took my hand. She started to lead me up and away. And that’s when the NDE ended.
At that point I woke up. I was struggling to breathe and I felt my heart struggling to work. But they stabilized in about a minute. After that I continued to feel disoriented and dizzy. And I felt distressed from my difficulty with breathing and with my heart.
But I wasn’t distressed from the NDE. That was ecstatic. I only felt curious why it had aborted. I was aware from others’ reports of NDEs that at a certain point they made a decision to come back and resume their life. Often it was because they had loved ones who they felt still needed them (like children or a spouse) or because they felt they hadn’t completed their work on earth.
I asked my guides why I hadn’t transitioned and the answer was immediate: “You haven’t finished your books.” Of course!
I feel like I’ve received my marching orders—from Spirit! The good news is I’m about to put out my next book, The Holy Grail: Sacred Masculine & Divine Feminine.
Happily, this book should be available soon. And then we’ll see what’s next…

Solstice Gift

I think all the events in our life are for our spiritual growth—especially when there’s a pattern or a certain dynamic that happens repeatedly. I believe those things are Spirit trying to get us to see something about ourselves, something we’re not conscious of, so we can change and grow. Deep soul lessons and opportunities.
Recently I was meeting with my cancer support group and we were sharing about the challenges and the gifts of our cancer journey. We were all able to connect with the challenges, but no one shared about the gifts. I thought that was really significant (since I believe that all our experiences are gifts, even the painful ones). So I kept thinking about it afterward, asking, What is the gift of cancer for me?
I knew the platitudes, like “This has helped me to value every moment of life” or “This has helped me to be more compassionate.” But those were just ideas I’d heard, not really what I felt or what seemed true for me. So I kept meditating on it.
I also was meditating on something else from the group. I noticed (not for the first time) a pattern I have in this group of speaking strongly, in a way that I think feels overpowering to others. I bring a certain force that I don’t enjoy, but that comes out anyway. I was thinking I must have been triggered to speak so forcefully and was considering what the trigger was.
In the midst of that I got a message. The message said, “You need kindness.”
At first I thought the message was about why I was reacting in the group, because I was needing others to be kind. (I was primarily reacting to one participant who had a lot of anger and blame relative to their cancer.)
But then I realized the message was about me, that I needed to be kind to myself. The angry individual was reflecting my own lack of kindness—toward myself as well as others. I immediately knew that if I was kind to myself, that kindness would overflow to others and they wouldn’t trigger me.
I could instantly feel how different it would be to live from a place of kindness toward myself. Wow!!!!
I’ve always been a driven kind of person, expecting perfection of myself. Part of being perfect was “demanding” kindness of myself. (Even as I write this, I see the irony in what I was doing—“demanding” kindness!) Did I need cancer to start to be kind to myself? Maybe so.
This new orientation feels very different. It’s actually being kind and letting my inner taskmaster go.
I’m very excited about this deepening in my spirituality, in a way I wasn’t expecting. I’m reminded of the Dalai Lama saying, “My religion is kindness.” And of the proverb: “Charity begins at home.”

This year I, like so many others, had dreams of travel. Travel to shake off the stuck-ness of two years of living through a pandemic, while at the same time healing from cancer. I wanted to travel to the places my soul still longed for. But it wasn’t to be. My wellbeing hadn’t yet caught up with my dreams.
The first trip I planned was to walk in the footsteps of Yeshua (Jesus) and Mary Magdalene in Israel. That dream ended up taking me on a journey, but a very different one than what I’d envisioned.
I’d dreamed of this trip to Israel for a long time—initially to experience it myself and eventually to lead Yeshua-Magdalene retreats there. As I considered how best to make this trip, I quickly realized a tour wouldn’t work for me. I needed to structure my own itinerary to the places that called to me, allowing the full time I needed at different sites and structuring the order of the trip in a way that was right for me. Even more importantly, I needed to have my own experiences, not influenced by the interpretations or beliefs of others.
I immersed myself in research about the area and the trip began to take form. I made reservations and started to experience myself already being in all the different places. I was alive with these places. Some part of my being already knew them and was remembering. I felt excited about going back physically to be there again.
It wasn’t until I started to look at possible flights that my guidance started to give me a new message. At first the guidance was quiet and subtle, but over time it became louder and larger. It was telling me I wasn’t up to international travel.
As often happens when I receive guidance I wasn’t expecting and don’t particularly like, I just sat with it for a while, letting myself absorb what I was being told and seeing how I felt about it. Within a relatively short time, I reluctantly started to feel the truth of what I was receiving. I wasn’t ready. I wasn’t strong enough yet. Not only would such an intense trip stress me out and undermine my ongoing healing, it also wouldn’t be fun. Traveling when you’re not well isn’t fun.
So I cancelled my reservations and let my travel partner know I wasn’t going to be making the trip. To my surprise, something very interesting happened. First, I noticed that there were signs that Israel may not be a safe place to travel at that time. I had a sense that my guides were looking out for my safety, as well as my physical wellness. But I also noticed something else.
I realized that my desire to experience the places connected to Yeshua and Mary Magdalene in Israel had been fulfilled—through all the research I’d done and the imagining of myself being in those places again. I actually felt at peace with not going there physically. I no longer needed to do that.
Around that same time, I happened to be watching a Youtube video about Yeshua by a professor of Biblical studies at UNC, James Tabor. In the video, Dr. Tabor showed a painting of the Sea of Galilee that looked the most like “the holy land” of 2000 years ago of any painting I’d ever seen. I immediately wanted a copy of the painting, as a final stroke of completion of my urge to experience that sacred land.
I wrote to Dr. Tabor and asked for help in locating the artist. Yet even before I received his very kind response, I’d already found the artist on Facebook. I wrote to her, asking if it was possible to obtain a print of that painting. She responded that she’d painted it specially for Dr. Tabor and hadn’t kept any copy herself. She then offered to paint a new painting of the Sea of Galilee for me. I felt deeply moved by her offering me this.
She also told me a little about herself. She had lived in Israel for a number of years and had felt guided to Mary Magdalene during that time. She was also quite a spiritual person. I felt incredibly blessed to have connected with her. I also felt exceedingly curious what this painting would be like.
About a week later, she contacted me and told me that when she’d started to work on the painting, Mary Magdalene had come to her. Mary told her to paint something else for me—a picture of Mary Magdalene rather than the Sea of Galilee. The artist wanted to know if I would be OK with changing the painting to be of Mary Magdalene. I told her if that was what she (the artist) was guided to do, especially by Mary Magdalene, then I most certainly wanted her to follow that guidance.
Within a very short time the painting was done and she sent it to me. As soon as I saw it I was blown away! She’d done an amazing job of capturing the Mary Magdalene I know and have experienced so many times. And the image is extremely potent. Everyone who’s seen the painting comments on how alive Mary seems and how much her image communicates.
This painting now hangs right next to my desk and I love it. I think of it as the Mona Lisa of the middle east. I feel Mary’s presence in visual form every time I look at it. And I feel myself back with her and Yeshua so many years ago, following in their footsteps.

YESHUA: Your Climate Crisis

Yeshua: This is about your climate crisis and global warming. It is difficult for many of you to relate to this because you’ve become anesthetized through technology, such that you no longer feel your Mother.
You’re anesthetized by the noise of traffic, which you’re surrounded by. You’re anesthetized by the walls of your buildings and vehicles, which enclose you. You’re anesthetized by the chatter of your media. You’re anesthetized by the chatter of your own mind. You’re anesthetized by your separation from your heart. And you’re anesthetized by your separation from each other. All this must be healed as part of your healing with the Mother.
Indigenous people understand this. They can be of great help to you, if you get over your pride and arrogance, and your indifference to what you’ve done to them.
I came, with others, to seed this Earth as sacred ground. Do not throw it away. Feel it, honor it, receive the gifts, and protect it.
This is your moment.
